We ain't gonna win this one...we gotta play perfect if we expect to and I'm afraid we are too banged up. These guys are gonna try and injure Adams and BW. They may even be better than UGA. This one is gonna be another heartbreaker I'm afraid especially since we allowed Wake Forest to kink out armor like they did.

It's like you know me........

Any word on injuries? Is Alizé supposed to be back?
Tuesday will be the return of the Mack to practice. Wimbush good to go. Adams felt great today and is fine moving forward, was never in concussion protocol. Kareem hyper extended knee, should be fine. Dexter quad injury day to day. Watkins tendonitis, should be fine.

Lmao did someone say that miami's defense is as good as Georgias? Our offensive line will push them 3-4 yards off the ball every down. Georgia and Alabama are on a total different level of size, scheme, discipline, and fundamentals.

My worry is cheap shots and once Miami gets punched in the mouth they start getting dirty and hurting out guys because physically...they won't be a match

Looking at the stats of Miami vs VTech, I can tell you this. If Miami turns the ball 3 times+ against us, they will have a very long night. We have been making other teams pay the price when it comes to turnover.

Anyone looking to sell an extra ticket let me know.

Making the trip down from Orlando next week, but I don't have a ticket yet and prices are skyrocketing.

Lots of funny shit on the Miami forums. Some of them think that we have not seen any team on our schedule with the kind of speed that they have. Sweet lord... They also think they should be ranked No1 after beating VTech this week-end. Probably still drunk from last night I suppose.

I don't know about that. Miami's interior in tough. #7 and #80 are both going to eat Bars' lunch.

Any chance Stepherson starts over ESB for this game.

Would like to play the best players.

They did ok last night against a top 10 ranked D.
VT is overrated, Miami created 4 TO's and scored 28 points. Miami had 3 TO's themselves. I would say that Miami is worse offensively than: USC, NCSt, WF, MSU, UGA, and maybe BC.

None of this is to say that Miami can't beat us, they are capable, but I don't see the juggernaut that some are making them out to be. They are a vastly inferior team to UGA who has struggled all season, minus last night their best game of the season by far (which even still the game was not a slaughter), against shoddy competition. Miami is not in the top 50 in rushing defense.

People here are making Miami out to be UGA/Bama because they beat a top 15 team by 18 points forgetting that we are coming off of two absolute beatdowns of top 15 teams and we demolished a really good MSU team on the road early in the season and we're the only team to go toe to toe with UGA all year long. It is one thing to respect our opponent, Miami is not a bad team and I don't think we will blow them out, but I hate when respect of the opponent comes at the price of downplaying our team (not saying you necessarily). We are a top 5 rushing team and Miami is not in the top 50 in rushing defense.

I'm not gonna talk shit about Miami because they beat VA Tech who I wouldve bet good money on them losing big to. I was big on the Miami sucks wagon.

I do think we'll have to play sharper than last week to win. I think we can absolutely do that though and would expect us to. Either way it should be fun.

I'd rather have the Wake Forest game be our gut check for the season. Miami is coming off a big win, while we're coming off a game where Wake made us realize we can't sleepwalk through the second half. I still like ND by 10+.

In hindsight I'm not sure why we (me included) were so high on VA Tech beating Miami because VT has done nothing all year to merit that praise. They've lost to the only two ranked teams they've played all year and their marquee win is WVU. They could easily win 10 games and have their 2 best wins all year be WVU and GA Tech. Color me super unimpressed.

Can ND lose if they don’t play well, sure. As Wake showed, every opponent needs respect. Will they play with higher intensity - I gotta believe they will. The coaching staff will have their attention this week. I’m more worried about them being too keyed up.

Virginia Tech’s rushing attack is rated 58th at 3.82 yards per carry - 176 yards per game. ND’s is rated 5th at 7.04 yards per carry and 324 yards per game. Total offense - ND is 13; VA Tech is 42. These are two entirely different offense and remarkably different rushing attacks. The Irish has two first round picks on the left side of the line, and home run threats at running back and quarterback.

Miami faced GA Tech with its 3 rated rush offense, but Tech has the next to worst pass offensive at 80 yards per game. Tech got 182 yard rushing and 55 yards passing in the Miami game losing 25-24. If ND gets 237 yards of total offense, it will be in trouble. ND had over 700 yards total offense yesterday.

I don’t think Miami holds ND under 400 yards offense. I think if ND doesn’t turn the ball over, Miami will have its hands full and will ultimately get worn down.

Miami showed signs of starting to gel yesterday. This going to be a war. They will be super hyped, we'd better be too. Going to be physical, some personal fouls to send a message or two.

We will have to play our best game. They have players, we do too.

Wimbush has to play his best game. O-line has to win the 4th quarter.

Seriously you have to be a horrid team to not win 10 games with this schedule:
WVU
Delaware
@East Carolina
Old Dominion
Clemson
@BC
North Carolina
Duke
@Miami
@GT
Pitt
@Virginia

What a truly pathetic schedule.

LOVE being underdog. Overreaction to this weekend's games.

The team is going to need to sack up and bring their A game next week... biggest home game for Miami in ages.
