Being in the bottom 3 every season might have something to do with it.

Ummmm, yeah it helps, but you do realize that their probability this year was 11% (finishing 3rd to last) and in years past finishing last was a probability of 25%, so winning the lottery 4 of 5 years when you have a chance (they finished 7th from bottom in 2013) is 'pretty flukey'.....even for a team that is in the bottom 3 consistently*

*almost as remote as going through your career at Florida, not having any significant trouble (other than one missed game for a failed drug test), and then being found guilty of murder and up on a double murder charge ;)

Also, can't stand the NBC broadcast. There is absolutely no crowd noise, most boring game I've ever watched.

Nobody wants to play the Wild right now. If the Hawks can take care of the Preds it'll be a good series (assuming you guys take care of the blues).

I'm all in on the Wild this year. My #1 team didn't make the playoffs (ugh) but living in Minneapolis has made the second half of this Wild season fun. Plus I've got tickets to the rest of the Wild's home playoff games, which should be a blast. The X looked like it was rocking last night.

Really hoping the Wild get another shot at the Hawks in the playoffs this year. I think it's the year they finally knock them off.

Red Wings shut out Tampa last night and take the lead in a series that NO ONE thought they could get out of. Mrazek is playing pretty damn solid for how young he is.

The Hawks better avoid OT for the rest of the series. They may get tired out after the extra 4 periods they've played so far.

Or hopefully they can just close it out tomorrow night and root for a couple 7 game series for everyone else.

Unreal stat, Hawks have been in 29 ot Playoff games since 2009. Not good for my heart.

It really is beyond me why Roszival gets any ice time. He is by far the worst player on the ice and took an absolutely awful penalty that snowballed into 2 goals.

It was terrible, wasn't it?? Ugh, that penalty.

Hawks' top 4 D-men are great, but it's frustrating that we can't seem to nail down a reliable third pair.

I'm still sad we sent Nick Leddy away. He was great going forward, great young athlete, and I was hopeful he would develop into a stud. But salary cap casualties are what they are, I guess.

I was watching the game off and on and seen the score with just over 6 minutes left in the 3rd and thought they had it in the bag only to wake up this morning and see that they screwed it up.

Was also glad the Ducks closed out their series quickly, looking forward to the next match up.

I felt the same way. I expected them to lose big today after losing the momentum in the previous loss, but I was proven wrong. They came out today and showed their ability to put that loss behind them. Mrazek recorded his second shut-out of the series. The series now returns to Detroit with Tampa Bay needing to win two straight. Go Wings.

Great W for Hawks. Ride Crow the rest of the way IMO. Darling was phenomenal this series when called upon but I just don't see them winning a cup without Crawford in net.
