I hate staying up late for an OT loss, but yes. Amazing goaltending on both sides, and fitting the only puck to make it into the net was the one that did.

I like getting it right but challenges suck cause refs are so scared of being wrong they blow close plays dead automatically. I wish they'd just eliminate offsides.

Happy that the hawks won last night. The challenges seemed to go in the hawks favor. I would be surprised if this series doesn't go 7 games.

The only thing I don't like about the challenges is that it screws up the flow of the game too much, but at least they get the chance to get it right.

Holy crap do I feel bad for you guys. How do you stand rooting for that bunch of losers? So much incompetence. Game one Simmonds gets his ass sent off for the rest of the game in crunch time because he's a mental midget who wanted to show how "tough" he was and fights goon. Really team first, smart play by a "leader."

Your crap goalie lets in that slider from center ice and that's somehow one of the LEAST embarrassing things about your squad. Maybe try less fighting and "toughness" and focus on, oh I don't know, not being terrible at hockey. Intimidation tactics don't work on teams that are bigger, better, stronger, and faster.

Absolutely. Every minute of it, totally made my weekend. Refs gifting you tons of power plays both of these first two games and your team sucks so badly they can't score. 18 shots in the first period including a 5-on-3 power play and NOTHING to show for it. I was rolling around laughing. Who did you bribe to get in the palyoffs? Surely there is another eastern conference team that doesn't suck as much as the Flyers.

If being "thoroughly outplayed" means winning by 3 goals and probably could've scored 6-7 with all of the A+ scoring chances we had... well, I'll take being "thoroughly outplayed" every game. You guys can keep taking all the bad and/or inept shots you want and Holtby will gladly gobble them up.

Spade is a spade. Your team came out with an idiotic plan of trying to out-tough the Caps and fight and be assholes to get in the heads of the superior team... and instead you're the ones mentally imploding. Losing a leading scorer to fighting a goon in crunch time of a playoff game LOL... if that's not being a failure, I don't know what is. What an absolute embarrassment of a team. I heard so much smack before the start of the series about Philly "imposing their will" on the "struggling" Caps from your delusional city full of delusional people and this is just spectacular. Really needed a tune up series to get the team clicking on full cylinders again.

I'm also a Flyer fan.

We are the fat girls at prom this year. Just happy to get to the playoffs. Hope it is a good experience for Hakstol to see what it is like. I won't try talking any crap, I just wish they get better and don't waste a baller talent like my man Claude Giroux's prime.
