It's not that difficult to know who you want to keep. We are making this process more complicated then needed.

I agree with bkess. It's really not that complicated. If you are keeping someone because of the preseason you are doing it wrong IMO. I am fine with any night August 28-September 1st. Preferably as late as possible.

I agree. Only thing I would add is that if one of your keepers is injured during that week 3 preseason game, or should be able to adjust. I get that, administratively, you can't do all the keepers the day of the draft. But presumably not a ton of guys are going to be severely injured that weekend so we would be talking about making a couple changes, if any.

I'm down for this. Make the keeper deadline Monday, August 22. We'll draft at some point the next week (Aug 28-Sept 1). If any keepers suffer injuries the weekend prior to the draft, it shouldn't be so many that Gattaca is hung out to dry and scrambling right before the draft starts.

Too late. I'm keeping him. Last year's draft was before his suspension was lifted so I got him in round 7. He's not quite worth a round 6 this year but I think he'll be worth a round 5 next year. Dude doesn't age. Plus, homer discount.
