Long story short:

I'm in a league that is a non head-to-head league. You submit your lineup each week, and the team at the end of week 17 with the most points win.

It's not standard scoring; it's a big-play league. A 5-yard TD is almost no better than a 5-yard run, but a 50-yard TD is worth huge money.

In this league, I'm up on the second place team by 400 points. A decent margin, but easily overcome if I have two bad/average weeks and he has two average/good weeks.

That second place team has just offered me Jordy Nelson for TY Hilton, straight up.

I've gotta take that, right?? Or do I need to be suspicious of this offer, like this guy knows something I dont?

I checked the matchups, and they are pretty even. I don't know why he would offer me Jordy "Big Play" Nelson for TY "Inconsistent" Hilton, unless he knows something I dont.

Help me IE Fantasy experts. I know you all are gifted fantasy minds.

I'd say if you are already ahead in this league, don't mess with your team. This league sounds really dumb to be perfectly honest. I hate leagues that vary too much from the norm.

I felt the same the first two years I was in it. But now that I've figured out how to draft for it, it's actually really entertaining.

And I kind of like it because it's designed to reward the best team, no matter what. It's a nice departure from other leagues, where even the best team overall can be victim to one freak matchup and lose out.

I like standard leagues better, because they are more true to the game. But this weird format has grown on me for its own merits.

I believe we agreed to increase the buy-in by 10 bucks every year so just keep that in mind for next year. It will be $40 buy in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm willing to surrender my spot. I've grown less interested in fantasy over the last few years. At this point this was the only league I belonged to this year.
