How many guys do you want to go through then? Couldn’t get Klein, Lewis not a culture fit, Moorhead new extension, got smacked down by Brian Johnson. Can’t keep looking around like the girl that got dumped at prom. Bryon Leftwhich shouldn’t have been offered I agree but Ludwig was probably the 3rd or 4th call. I’d say Freeman at least checked in with Hartline. I mean at some point you have to put someone in place to provide some stability.
Well, I'm not sure I'd categorize all those guys as candidates that they went through.
There was never any communication with Moorehead, so that's a choice by Freeman well within his control. Lewis was never brought on campus, also within their control. Brian Johnson was a very ambitious candidate so they always should've had other candidates at the ready. Leftwich seems like a waste of time. All of those decisions bring us to this spot.
So, I think you might be missing some of the point of my post. A lot of what has transpired is on Freeman for the process, the candidates, and the time invested to get here.
Where you feel like there is no time left and he must hire Parker. If Parker is ultimately hired, because as you put it, you have to have someone in place for stability. The road traveled to this spot is littered with bumps made by a rookie HC. Not an admin hell bent on being cheap.
