It's your opinion that Nike wouldn't do a shoe deal with incumbent Heisman winner Caleb Williams while he's at USC? Not with Marvn Harrison Jr or Brock Bowers?

I'm pretty sure they'd crawl over broken glass to get into CFB player shoe deals. Everybody's unsure of that 1st step, is all.
College Junior/Senior Caleb Williams... yes.
High school senior Caleb Williams... I doubt it.

Just watched "Air" last night... the story of how Michael Jordan signed with Nike. Jordan was the first player to get a cut on the sales of his product line. Ironically, Nike is too big now to ever entertain something like this for college kids.

To me, this is the play with UA. We will take your money, but you need to dedicate a few licensing deals every year to our primary high school recruit on offense and defense... and this deal has to be exclusive to Notre Dame. UA might not be cool to these kids, but money is.

It gives UA an opportunity to get in the ground floor on future stars and allows ND an NIL advantage while still being able to pretend like they arent playing the game. Meanwhile, FUND can pay the entire roster with the blessings of the admin.
We need to do similar with NBC. Hartman should be featured in the ND on NBC commercials.

I'm chill brother. I eat tons of fruit, not sure why the directive, but I am not going to take shit from some death monger on a message board. Especially when he's the one instigating it. Can you show me anywhere I instigated violence? All I did was respond to some juvenile dbag and I will continue to. Peace be with you.
And with your spirit.

Please no UA. Does LuLu rep any college sports? A very well run company. Their brand has become stronger and stronger in younger demographics. College sports presence would be next step unless they are already in it. Obviously College Football would be big jump but as quirky as it might have seemed a few years ago, ND and LuLu might be a good match.

The exact opposite of UA.

I’d say as a generality, IE is collectively obese, or at least has a metaphorical eating disorder.

We deal with big emotions by leaning on food. It’s our coping mechanism.

I’ll have a better argument against this after I finish my ketchup soaked scrambled eggs.

As of late last week it was pretty much a done deal with Nike. (No Jordan for football team, not sure about girls hoops) That said, UA has upped their offer even more. They do not want to lose ND. (Source? Me)

Will the the big 3 may win out here? (MS, MF, NI)

(Similar report came out last week out of 247, but I had a confirmation about it late last week)

IMO Steph curry almost single handily kept UA’s brand afloat during his MVP years and now they are kind of fucked. They don’t have any of the young nba stars (embiid doesn’t have Curry’s appeal) and no one cares who sponsors nfl players (no signature shoe).

I agree UA is one of the worst options for shoes & apparel but LuLu isn’t the answer IMO (maybe you were joking?). I can’t imagine the average ND fan buying ND branded lululemon duds. The overpriced yoga pants in their retail stores would command an added premium w/ the interlocking ND logo added to it. Not to mention, I assume they’d be alienating the majority of the ND fanbase as their target audience isn’t exactly overweight, gluttonous football fans. If you truly wanted one of the younger brands in athletic leisure wear, I think nobull is the better option. They just became the official outfitter of the NFL Combine this past year & don’t have that virtue signaling, entitled d-bag soy-boy reputation. I’m generalizing for sure, but that’s the vibe I get where I live.

They did a nice job initially marketing Bryce Harper but that’s kind of faded. He’s to UA what Trout is to Nike. I’ve noticed most MLB rookies start out w/ UA or adidas and then jump to Nike at first opportunity. I’ll be impressed if ND breaks away from UA.
