So what’s going on with IB I don’t listen to it in the summer bc I can’t stand Vince. I know they hired a new guy but is he the director of recruiting or did they give it to Shaun Davis. Is they gave it to Shaun I can’t even bother with them anymore. Started listening to locked on lately and I do enjoy it.

IB made a few hires.

Vince is on more because the school season (he is Dean of Students or whatever at Penn), and they hired former Irish Tribune editor Nick Kremer to cover recruiting. Shaun Davis is still just a part-time employee.

Driskell hired two more writers to cover the team and college football, and had said he is looking to make another hire or two in the coming weeks.

The recruiting coverage has slowed down. Roberts really put in a lot of work with IB. Granted, it’s a slow period for ND recruiting right now, so we will see how Kremer does in the coming months.

I like the Connor Wojack (sp?) kid. He’s a pro who actually works in sports journalism at Fox and graduated ND in 2018. He knows his lane and doesn’t pretend to be a recruiting or Xs/Os expert. I can’t stand when superfans get into pods. I can get that emotional shit on a message board…LOL

I just resubbed, but threatened to cancel 1st. They offered a whole year for $2 a month, so I stuck around. Prob will drop it next year. Too bad, too because I like a lot of their stuff, and I've always enjoyed reading Pete. Not really worth the elevated cost to me, though.

Same exact thing happened to me. Auerbach was a good national reporter. Their college football coverage has dropped off big time. I probably will cancel after this year. I don’t really find Pete’s recent stuff to be worth it

Whenever he starts to ask a question at pressers, everyone in the room groans & sighs.
Nobody likes him.

But anyone who thinks that there isn't a significant chance of any figure in sports being inclined to the right is fooling themselves.

But anyone who thinks that there isn't a significant chance of any figure in sports being inclined to the right is fooling themselves.

Just wanted to put everyone's worries to rest...Driskell and Vince predicted Notre Dame in the national championship game against Georgia. Vince "original thought" picked Georgia to win. Driskell, being the non homer he is....has picked ND to win the national championship again. Driskell said he was going out on a limb and having fun!

130 teams & they have the exact same title game. I believe they had 11 of the same 12 teams too.

Bryan probably spent days going through every teams’ schedule & analyzing it.
Vince just copied what Bryan has been saying.
If you asked Vince to name 3 players on each side of the ball for each of his playoff teams, I would bet my left nut he couldn’t do it for more than ND & maybe one other team.
Waste of space.

But…thank you baby Jesus, today was his last day for the year for him on the day shows.
He sucks so bad.

Also, Brian Smith, who is one of the best in the business, is going to be officially contributing to IB now.

Agreed. I enjoy listening to his insights & he is well versed on ND recruiting going back to the good ole days
