Give me the hammer for a day, I'll take care of it.

goolsby going off about how buchner is the obvious answer again. obviously he is better at evaluating talent than me but I still find it so ridiculous

Considering how little of practice the media has been able to see, it’s hard for me to take him seriously. This screams attention grabber.
Easiest person to cheer for on the team is the back up QB. I love Buch and I really hope that he is everything I think he could be.

But this screams bet hedging so that the first time Hartman has a bad game, he can talk about how he was right about Buchner being better.

Goolsby is a bit hard on Colzie. Says he questions his love of the game. Thinks Greathouse and Flores moves ahead of him.
I am total opposite.

Watching the Goolsby show the guy he is interviewing just mentioned the George O’Leary hiring and firing so I finally decided to look it up.
It’s pretty funny. He made a whole University up.

I'm not anywhere near close enough to have an opinion on Colzie's love of the game. With that said, I just don't see the abilities. He seems way to slow off the line and in/out of breaks. He had a bunch of big catches vs zone last year and obviously the big catch vs usc, but I don't see someone that should be on the field that much if tobias is what we need him to be and 1-2 frosh are ready to contribute.

Can you imagine this board if TB was named the starter? Clashmore would have to overclock the cpu to keep up with the speed and volume of the posts.

As former ND AD Kevin White stated at the time of O’Leary’s hiring: “He’s straight out of central casting”

Yeah, as much as this was directed at Goolsby, he's at least entertaining. Malik has the worst takes along with the charisma of an ant.

Yeah based on his tenure at ND I would have thought Malik would have been way more entertaining. Rumors have it after his major injury he was frequently found at one of the off-campus trap houses frequently nursing a cup of lean/promethazine. Probably wasn't the best choice for his career but thought it would have at least made him an entertaining podcaster.

Goolsby is fine. He's entertaining, and has some good takes and overall perspectives about the University that us fans don't hear much from former players.

But, his whole Hartman thing is funny to me. He believes that if Hartman is such a great QB, then why isn't he in the NFL now... after five years of college and several ACC passing records.

Goolsby locked onto Buchner before last year for whatever reason and he seems like the type to not back off a stance or entertain any nuance for literally any reason.

Logic doesn’t matter when stubbornness is your defining personality trait.

If you can't get off the buchner hype train after last years performance, man you are stubborn. There's reason to hope Buchner can improve, some rumblings and reports that he is improving are encouraging. But you can't go into this year thinking Buchner is the guy over Hartman for any rational reason.
