1. Maureen McFadden long time WNDU anchor is retiring. The Emmy award winner is a St Joe / St Mary's grad and has been with WNDU since the early 80's as I remember her and Jeff Jeffers on tv when I was in high school.

2. This tweet is from Steve Hare who used to be with II when it was Scout. I believe he left when II chose to hire Kevin full time instead of him.

Probably one of the dumbest pieces I've ever read, and I'm gonna quote text it here to not give them more clicks. Nothing remotely insightful in that piece, and a lot of truly myopic takes. She also wastes 4 paragraphs recapping shit that has no bearing on this team or the supposed premise of this piece. And every single "positive" statement is intentionally phrased to emphasize some perceived negative. Take for example:
"Only" Kelly's 4th road win in 14 tries... come on... no one at SI writing about how amazing Michigan is right now is qualifying their superlatives with "well, actually, it was their only road win over a ranked team in over a decade and that MSU team shouldn't even have been ranked".

Man, Sports Illustrated has gone to shit. I dunno how some of these people have jobs, and also this is why I subscribe to The Athletic.

She said absolutely nothing new and for most of us the way Notre Dame runs itself is the way it should be-there are a lot of semi pro college teams that could take a lesson as to how its done here, where did she go to school?-just curious (found it) says she grew up a Texas fan-another team down thru the years that Notre Dame has beat in many big games-always a reason for the hate try another beat young lady try your Longhorns. I 'll bet she doesn't like my avatar of the greatest college tight end (ever) running over some Texas player on route to a rout in the Cotton Bowl 1977. There is always a reason for the hate.

I remember watching the players walk to the stadium when BQ walks by, my wife blurts out, "My God that's a good looking young man." Everyone within earshot started laughing and nodding. To this day, he is still the only ND player whose name she knows as soon as she sees his face. lol
