Our SOS looks pretty bad if USC and Clemson turn out to be not that great. We kinda need one of them to be 10-2 or better at the end of the year if we want to have some quality wins.

Pretty good Stanford and pretty good USC is about as good as mediocre Stanford and damn good USC.

Separate from strength of schedule concerns, a weak Pac 12 champion dramatically helps our playoff chances.

We can beat both of these teams. USC has some great skill positions, but defense is undisciplined. Stanford - not that good just playing with high intensity.

Yeah. Torn on this one. I certainly prefer Stanford. But I feel like USC has a better shot at running the table, which helps us in a playoff selection scenario. Either way, good game, as it is pretty much every year. And by the end of the year they're both likely 8-4. So whatever.
