If the scholarship count thing is correct, then USC has got to be pulling offers right now. I just looked at our own current first page and there are at least a half dozen guys who have USC offers on it [includes Poole, Peat, Marshall, Thompson, Sh!ttu, Kimbrow, Washington too, I think, & maybe more]. [who knows how many are total on the other pages??]. One large pain-in-the-butt just got erased on the recruiting trail. With Texas nearly full, we can now try to out-recruit the southeast. If we can, we're going to be loaded again.

What you're missing is that USC will use this as an excuse to retract offers from commits when the time comes and there is a lot of chatter about pushing non-performers out the door.
