If this is the Book we get the last two games, in the bowl game and in 2020, then sign me up. I’m not sure what clicked but the last two games have been damn impressive.

1. Book was fantastic.

2. Best Navy team in a long time... maybe entire modern era... and ND just throttled them because big time players made big time plays from the very beginning.

3. I'm fairly confident that there are some new cooks in the kitchen calling plays, but I don't want this to come across as "oh look ND had a good game so now we're saying Chip Long isn't calling plays" so I'll just say that the aggressive play calling + execution was unreal. Loved the passing game. So "whoever" was responsible for that should also get the next two-three games as an audition and I think he will.

I hope we get clarification on #3 some how. Today's performance is perplexing to say the least.

I am so impressed with the job Lea has done preparing and coaching the defense in general but the job he does against Navy is remarkable.

Book was leading the receivers perfectly today.

Claypool is becoming one of my favorite players on this team.

Both O/D lines did their jobs well today.

I loved seeing all the smiles from the players and the coaches.

Boy Tony Jones will rock people in pass pro.

The crowd sounded good on tv and look pretty full.

We scored 52 points and a win by 32 over the number #23 team i'll take it all day.

You know it's a good day when you step out of the room for a minute and you come back and they are showing a replay of the Lenzy bomb. Quick, pretty, fun!

Great game

Great win. Navy is a good team (when was the last time ND and Navy were both ranked for our matchup) however just because I’m a pessimist or maybe because when I felt like I could see us win a major bowl for the first time since I started going to school we got humiliated by a team much worse than who we will play in a major bowl. Still we avoided the upset and played well so I’m having a good night!

#3, I was thinking this myself after the Duke win. Something has drastically changed with this offense, and it feels like a shift in the playcalling. Either Kelly has taken the reigns, or Long got his head out of his ass.

Only negative:running game still MIA.Book was the leading rusher with 31 yards.

The facts are this is just not a great running team this year. We're better off passing well to setup the run. This happens in cycles with Kelly's team. Part of it could be the injuries to the OL and RB has hampered their ability to develop a rushing attack. On the flip side, when Book and Claypool are clicking they're extremely dangerous. Along with Lenzy to take the top off the D, it keeps them honest and it opens up running plays later.

ND still has trouble running the ball. I’m still fairly confident clear skies ND beats Michigan by two scores. NDs kryptonite is rain.

The puffy coat that BK wore coming out of the Tunnel. He may have had It on most of the game but, he had a normal face so the cameras we get paid to have watch and broadcast our game didn't try a Trumpism.

I have a hunch,... It's the hunchback of NotreDame.

You will never love the team you root for if they keep making you look like an idiot.?

True, but I think even w/ a healthy starting OL, the run game is below average for a top ten team. Some of that may be due to lacking an elite RB but our OL gets pushed around a lot. I don’t know if Banks is playing injured but he gets knocked on his ass a lot for being the biggest guy on the field.

Crowd was pretty dead
Lea did a nice job. D was on point
Their secondary couldn’t hang with our receivers
Their D line struggled with pass rush
Again with the OL procedure call...
This team looked the part and should easily win the next two
Claypool will be a baller at the next level

A lot of people here were foolishly VERY worried about this game going so far as to say Navy should be favored. I’m happy that those people were wrong. Haven’t watched it all yet (just got home), but I think it was a pretty dominant win. Very encouraging trajectory lately, particularly in the passing game

Great game. Guys are having a lot of fun and that is fun to watch.
Gotta say though, the running game is MIA where was Jahmir? He had one rushing attempt, in a blow out! Also along those lines, Phil got over a quarter and managed 2 passes and 2 rushes. Was hoping he actually got an opportunity to run the offense not squeeze air out of the ball. These are missed opportunities IMO, that no one focuses on because it was a big win. Eventually we might actually need these guys to execute in the offense when there is something on the line, I’m not sure if there is any possibility for growth with these types of reps.
Conversely, loved the substitutions on defense, was glad to see Bauer get some real burn in the middle.

Very solid win and solid play on both sides of the ball. No one, I repeat no one should be complaining today.

I thought Navy was going to pants Notre Dame? Would you like your crow served hot or cold?
