Just finishing watching the game again. Beautiful two point conversions. If this team needed to score more this season we could have. We were almost never behind and needing to air it out. Leonard had to pass and Ohio state knew it and he still delivered and our OLine gave him protection.

Difference in last nights game.
J.T. TUIMOLOAU 5 STAR
JACK SAWYER 5 STAR
EMEKA EGBUKA 5 STAR
DONOVAN JACKSON 5 STAR
TREVEYON HENDERSON 5 STAR
ALL ONE RECRUITING CLASS
Without question, year over year, we miss on bonafide 5 stars. They are the difference that separates us from the top 3-5 recruiting teams annually.

Did anybody get caught up in that TSA mess at the airport this morning? What a clusterf*ck that was. It took over 2 hours to get through security.

Literally nobody other than reporters would paint a situation of a teammate stepping up and yelling at a group of guys looking for a quote about “lol you sure got cooked by that special talent” from their visibly distraught younger teammate as a bad thing.

The amount of shit OSU players are talking on X about our players is high level tiny dick energy. Hope our players are seeing it and storing it away.

I didn't think about it at the time, but converting on two 2 point conversions against Ohio State is pretty incredible. Number one by a huge margin in redzone defense, and getting two of those in on one chance is pretty outstanding. A lot of good from last night honestly. It's just too late for any of it to matter.

I don’t follow many of the OSU players so I’m out of the loop here - what are they saying?

I absolutely hate reporters in the locker rooms at any level of sports. It’s such an intrusion of privacy. Let the guys process what happened, shower, change, and then ask questions in a different location.

I’m a big fan of Jayden Thomas stepping up to protect his younger teammate. I hope he comes back because he seems to a positive locker room presence and has been a very unselfish player, which is rare in a WR room.

It's pretty unusual in a college sports setting. Kinda surprised they do it actually.

Who cares what their players are saying? To the victor goes the spoils. Anyway, I think Love was just saying we consider OSU the best, and we want to play the best. He wasn't implying that we would win, like when fans chant "we want Bama" or whatever.

OSU players/fans/etc. do seem to have a big chip on their shoulder, for whatever reason. I lived in Columbus and found the fixation with Michigan a little bizarre. I guess this obsession existed even when they were beating Michigan regularly. Granted that OSU owns ND, though. At least in football.

One of those was directed at a nameless shittalker on Twitter. The other is a fair response to Love saying he wanted to play them. I see no issue with either. Sucks cause we're on the losing end but fair play.
I thought the one directed at the shittalker was fair.

Snipping Love’s statline is a low blow, especially since Love said he wanted to play OSU because he wanted to play the best. Tyleik is just being an ass. Go to his account and you’ll see he’s retweeting a bunch of anti-ND content. Not sure what his deal is, but to each his own, yeah none of this happens if they win the game.

Mills and Morrison don’t get hurt and this game is a toss-up against all that 5 star talent. Our injuries caught up with us.

One thing I've really enjoyed is watching is watching all the clowns doing the "Notre Dame laid another egg in a big game" routine got wrecked by football fans everywhere.

Notre Dame needs to win a championship to get the monkey off their back, but the negative perception that ND can't compete has basically been crushed.

It's basically a litmus test now on whether someone knows ball or not. I think this season, including last night, is going to pay dividends with recruiting. Notre Dame isn't just that team that was good a long time ago now.

Feeling okay after combing through our returning 2-Deep today. Unfortunately, NIL Super Teams like this OSU bunch will still exist.

I really don't think that's gonna be the case - there's plenty of deep pocketed schools that will throw money around to spread the talent out. I think we're entering an era of way greater parity than we've seen

Ohio State is and has been in Stormtrooper mode. They are simply more talented and deeper.

They are what we should be aspire to be.

And I'll point out the last time we were on this stage our coach gave up on his team before halftime.

This time our coach instilled an attitude that allowed us to make the second half interesting.

We are better off.

No one is going to arguing with you on this point.

Leonard Moore played Ebuka perfectly on that 3rd and 11. Pressed at the line. Forced Ebuka outside on the sideline. Would have loved to see Gray put in that same position rather than soft coverage.
