Oregon’s lucky to be 3rd honestly. I’d probably put Texas there after their respective performances in the CFP.Ducks fans bitching they're 3 and not 2.
Like, what?
They have an argument. Conference champions, beat Ohio State once. Only lost one game. I’m sure they’d argue that they got a shitty draw (which they did). Either way, doesn’t matter for us or them. I’d say the loser in the final will just about always end up #2.Ducks fans bitching they're 3 and not 2.

If they hadn’t completely shat themselves in the Rose Bowl, maybe. But we (and Texas) both played Ohio State a lot closer, and beat other top 10 teams in the playoffs, which Oregon did not. They have an argument. Conference champions, beat Ohio State once. You just got up, must be living in Eastern time zone. Thought you were still in Russia.Just woke up. It was a great run, the best ND team I ever saw. Thanks a lot for a great season, I wish we could do two steps in one but Ohio State tripped our jump. A couple of shots will beat the hang over, all the best to everyone on the board!
Eh, Texas never impressed me all year. They lost basically every elite/close to elite team they played. UGA should be ranked ahead of Texas in my opinion, they beat them twice and won their conference. I get Texas won two play off games, but if you look at their level of competition in those games, it's a little deceptive.Oregon’s lucky to be 3rd honestly. It would’ve been worse had it been Meatchicken or U$C so there’s that.Just had to be Ohio St.
God hates me
The odds of converting a fourth and 8 or whatever it was were not great! What if we had scored the TD and 2 pt conversion?
I cannot wait for Notre Dame football later this year. This year was just a taste of what is to come. We are going to be a lot better come fall
Who gives a shit whether we finish two or three? If we make that chip shot we assure #2. If we are #3 that is the difference. Makes it a one score loss. No excuse missing a chip shot. Going easy on him since he was money for 2 games. Hope new guy is a good kicker all season.
I cannot WAIT to start screaming about Denbrock when Carr takes a delay of game out of a timeout to open next season.
(Then proceeds to throw for 3500 yards behind an elite line that gives him all day to throw and goes to NY for the Heisman ceremony while ND is plotting another opening-round home game against a 12 seed.)
Would be better related to timezones. I'd rather ger up at 3:30 a.m. and stay up the whole day. I live in Germany, Karlsruhe. You just got up, must be living in Eastern time zone. Thought you were still in Russia.
I’ve seen it done, unfortunately. The odds of converting a fourth and 8 or whatever it was were not great!

2Q and 2nd play of 2nd half....
Beat at our own game. It's probably been said earlier in this thread but it bears repeating...
Middle 8 score: Ohio State 14 - Notre Dame 0
Final margin of victory: 11
when ND lost the coin toss and OSU deferred to second half my heart sank. The first drive was cool and all but the first possession of second half is so important to this teamIt's probably been said earlier in this thread but it bears repeating...

Exactly. Was the first time in the playoffs we didn’t get the ball to start the second half, and it hurt us.when ND lost the coin toss and OSU deferred to second half my heart sank. The first drive was cool and all but the first possession of second half is so important to this team
