Wanna start talking about NSD. Not just who's gonna sign out of the candidates we know about but who might surprise out of left field or who might be post-NSD possibilities.

First, if they run the table with:

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
Jafar Armstrong
Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa
Jalen Harris
Russ Yeast

It would have the class at 20, though if I had to handicap it, I'd say 2.5 is the line here. I'm not up with how many they could take, I know it's still fluid at this point anyways with 5th years and potential/unannounced transfers.

For public record, I have no idea what's up with Martin or MC Hammer. Anything that happens with these two would not surprise me.

Is there anyone you guys have heard, or have a feeling ND might have in the bag if they called? Someone like BC safety commit from Indy Cathedral, Ben Stewart for instance(?) (not saying he's being considered). I'd basically guarantee he'd say yes.

Someone else from Indy area is ATH/S/RB Bryant Fitzgerald of Avon. 6-1, 200lb, 100+ tkls Jr/Sr ... 3 Int, 2 Int-TD, 800+ yds rushing Sr. yr on limited carries playing in Indiana's second best conference. He's committed to IU but West Virginia, Minnesota and Wisconsin are on him. Rivals has him rated 1 pt behind JOK's 4 star/80 at a 3 star/79. Once again, not saying ND has any contact with him but he's the kind of late player that makes sense as there's flexibility in his game.

Just wonder if there are any names out there floating around behind the walls? I'd have to think ND lands some, whether it's a WF silent flip like Troy Simon, an out of the blue NSD surprise that one of the new coaches has been on behind the scenes from their last gig or a post-NSD decision for whatever reason.

Jayru Campbell??????

On a serious note, what's up with Cedric Mitchell from Concord? Did he commit to Cuse or a MAC school? I know they kicked his tires, seems like he could be a late roster stuffer.

That would be a surprise and the first one in so long I can't remember.

When was the last time they brought in 5 recruiting assistants at the end of a cycle?

I'll still be surprised if we land someone we haven't been talking about.

I think there's a 91.667% chance ND signs a 2017 kid who is not taken a visit to ND in the past month.

Trick bet. No 2017 kid can sign yet.

Besides, I wouldn't put the odds at anything more than 91.664%.

I like to compare ESPN and Rivals to get a 'median' score of where they have the teams compared. Right now, ESPN anal-ists have the Irish at 14 and Rivals 17.

With that being said, opinions on who you guys adhere or believe?

Think Armstrong and Amosa are coming here. Yeast is wait and see. The other two are currently visiting. Let's see how that goes.

So Martin's gone. Does that mean anything in regards to MC Hammer?

Wardlow gets 3 CB's today to go along with VaTech's Matej Sis' CB from a week ago. (Dude's a 90%er). Does that mean anything for Jalen Harris? Are they a both or first come situation?

Yeast? Ain't feelin it. 75% UL - 25% ND is my gut. Unless dad gets a that rumored UK job... lol

What about BC commit, CB Brandon Sebastian? Any news there?

Regarding my own personal... crusade. There are follows between WR Emeka Emezie and Del Alexander/Chip Long.

The next 48 hrs are going to be interesting.

Greenberry to me will always be the biggest surprise of NSD. I was devastated.

Greenberry was brutal. I think Greg Little was the worst for me b/c it was the first time I had paid attention.
