I would bet a billion Vbucks it was a PR stunt. The phone was ringing still as he had it up against his ear. It all seemed eerily staged to me. I think it was a great idea TBH, but it looked a little gimmicky in practice.

It looked pretty staged to me. I don't see how acknowledging that is a bad thing. The kid wanted to commit and the coaches wanted to have fun with it. And it was fun.

I agree with you!

The first part about strength and conditioning is pretty serious, but I was kind of trying to be lighthearted about the second part.

The serious side of the theater has been addressed. So many people print bad press about ND. I want to see if this gets the same attention that some other things do.

Would be really sweet if ND got a rep for pulling recruits in, even in the 11th hour!

The other tip off is that it seems like for years that they are slow to announce LOI's that have been received because compliance needs to do their thing to make sure it's all up to snuff. Yet BK gets a call from a recruit who tells him that he just faxed in the LOI and that's good enough for BK to announce it to the world. Yeah right.

You are right on Blaise. All you see is the same people complain about everything.
I am not a fan of this coaching staff, but what do I know what goes on.
Pan, Lax, BGIF, ND C and others seem to a better handle on goings on, those are SOME of the people I like to read.
All the negative talk about all subjects by some individuals is pathetic.
