I watched "Deadly Prey" on Riff Trax recently. The movie is a really low budget "One Man Army" type of flick; the "Rambo" or "Commando" rip-off that everyone was making in the 80s. It's worth watching, not just because of the funny commentary from the RT guys, but because how the movie itself goes completely batshit in the last 5 minutes. Even the RT guys weren't saying much as the madness unfolded.

Watched the Dark Knight again recently. The more I see that movie the more I like Ledger's Joker and the less I like Bale's Batman. The voice is just too much for me. One thing BVS did right was show that Batman was using a device to alter his voice. Bale just growled. He was good as Bruce Wayne though.

3 movies for the price of less than 1 is still a hell of a deal. Plus 2-5 off everything after 3.

It will be out of business soon, there are other better options out there now. Had a good run with moviepass but all good things come to a end

Not really unless you live close to an AMC.

We'll see. These changes should certainly make their model more sustainable.

HBO has a documentary called TICKLED, and it is highly engrossing and intriguing.

Basically, a journalist that covers bizarre stories runs across a competitive tickling league online, and wants to interview the promoters of it for his column. When he reaches out to them, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE.

*If you can get through the first 5 minutes, which will make you think its 90 minutes of creepy fetish crap, it actually is a great doc/mystery/thriller that will keep you engaged until the end.

I watched "Edge of Tomorrow" on TNT last night.

What a good movie. I don't think it gets enough credit, and it didn't get enough hype when it came out.

Cruise and Blunt are both great, the premise is intriguing (though adapted from manga, I believe), and it's more than just hardcore action.

I think I might have to buy this one and add it to my collection.

Also, they say a sequel that is both a sequel and a prequel is supposed to start production sometime this year or next, so I'm pretty pumped for that. Sounds like some interesting time paradox potential there or something.

I really enjoyed that movie as well. It wasn't amazing but it was enjoyable viewing. I've actually been wanting to watch it again.

you haven't canceled yet? Moviepass is trash now

I paid for the full year in advance this past March/April. I've definitely gotten my money's worth from it and there's no reason to cancel because I still get 1 free movie per day until next March/April. It just takes more planning on getting a ticket, though it looks like they've stabilized their offerings down here in Austin.

That was one of the worst botched marketing campaigns in recent memory.

They changed the name like 3 times before it finally came out. Gave it a weird tag line (Live. Die. Repeat.) that they marketed instead of the name they ended up releasing it with. Total mess.

They still haven't fully cleared it up lol.

Some home releases have to be searched by the title "Live Die Repeat" because the company made a half-hearted effort to officially change the name after the theatrical run was over.

But some are still tagged as "Edge of Tomorrow" because they realized they messed up and needed full range of coverage.

Edge of Tomorrow was awesome. Best movie I've seen in theaters since Lone Survivor.

I normally don't like Tom Cruise movies, but I really liked Edge of Tomorrow.

The manga novel its based on had such a better and badass title

All You Need Is Kill

Kinda reminds me of that one Beatles song. You know, "Happiness is a Warm Gun"

Now...originally released to theaters as Edge of Tomorrow with the tag line of Live. Die. Repeat. Which everyone thought was better.

We canceled ours a few days ago as there was no movies available for about a week straight. And when movies did start popping up it was the movies no one wants to see. We are looking at getting a new service https://www.sinemia.com/new-plans/us/aberdeen-3 which has been getting very good reviews, you can also purchase tickets ahead of time which is a big plus

Not Vlk but I loved that movie.

That was a film where it almost creeps you out how good the child actors were. Black Phillip is the GOAT!

Also that was Robert Eggers debut film which is pretty nuts. His second film that's coming out next year is called the Lighthouse. Black and white. Starring Willem Defoe and Robert Pattinson. It's being released by A24 again, that's basically enough to sell me on any movie at this point.

Anyone watch Seven Psychopaths? Dark comedy. Made in a similar fashion of Pulp Fiction. I enjoyed it, especially the ending. Tuesday? lol

Made by the same guy who did In Bruges and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. His brother directed Calvary

2nd this. The story unfolded in a very interesting and unexpected manner. It was helped by the fact that there actually was a resolution and the questions were answered. It's worth a watch.

Watched The Foreigner with Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. Definitely recommend it. More of a thriller with some action sets and probably more screen time for Brosnan than Chan. But had more depth and complexity than I assumed from all my years of watching Jackie Chan movies.

Watched it this weekend. Did my heart some good to see a 60 year old guy kicking some punks arses. lol

It definitely had some twists you didn't see coming. My wife typically won't watch these or plays on her phone while watching, but she stayed dialed in.
