Nice! Enjoy the day. I hope we get Timmy and the best pitching staff in MLB some run support this year.

Beg to differ on best pitching staff, when Carpenter and Wainright come back healthy the Cards will have 2 aces plus Garcia pitches like a ace at home. Add in a solid Kyle Lohse (no hitter into 7th yesterday) and Jake Westbrook along with one of the best bullpens.

My MLB predictions for this year (and, really, every year):

-Some dude will be put on the DL with a total BS injury- like from sneezing or some sh!t.

-A strong case will be made for some dude in the MVP race based on some totally obscure and useless stat some nerd created in his mom's basement.

-We'll hear, ad nauseam, not only about how great the all-star game is, but how important it is also.

-Some dude with a pussy-@ss injury like a hang nail or ear ache will be propped up with hyperbole of Herculean feats as "tough."

-Some 4th starter or 7th best field position player on a sh!tty team will be traded and nerds like Tim Kirkjianghirnt will flood ESPN airwaves spouting on and on about how valuable he is and how much he will mean to his new team and why said new team will now win it all.

-At least 3 dudes will be making 12+ million this year...and play < 10% of his team's games.

-We will be bombarded with all sorts of defensive philosophies, offensive philosophies, and all sorts of "strategies" regarding teams, managers, and players...yet every person on Earth that isn't some 3rd-team, JV baseball player from high school "baseball purist" sports fan will know it's 99% total BS.

-Tim Kirkijiangksdgjfgkj and several other nerd baseball reporters will set the record for most reach arounds bestowed upon these incredible "athletes."

I think he means that the Rangers are not in the Central. No amount of hoping will help them win a division they aren't in.

*If I were being totally objective, this would be the Rangers. I came dangerously close to following Theo to the Cubs this winter. I hate the direction the Sox are going under Lucchino. They have many unlikable players and an unlikable manager. But for now I'm still with them, and I can't pick against them if they have any kind of legitimate shot.
