Spinning off from the "what really grinds my gears" thread, it's "MLB Postseason." Not playoffs. Postseason. NBA Playoffs. NFL Playoffs. Stanley Cup Playoffs. MLB Postseason.

And in hockey, the last round is the "Stanley Cup Final," singular, not "finals."

Not much of a baseball fan: But i'm really hoping for a Boston vs L.A World Series. If its St.Louis vs Detroit ill probably not watch much. Just being honest.

Also, for as much sh&t as Joe Buck and Tim Mccarver get on social media. I got to be honest, I enjoy their commentary. (Please don't throw stones at me.)

1) As a guy with no affiliation to any team. I've always just tried to enjoy players. Love watching Big Papi hit. Also, older brother went to college in Boston. So ive been to the city and enjoyed my visits there. Just root for them when they make it to playoffs.

2) Fair enough. I understand i'm in the vast minority with my opinion.

As for the NL...I'd rather not a coast to coast series, but I feel like Boston vs LA would be more entertaining. Either way, I'm hoping it goes 7 games.

I've been rooting for Boston-LA since about July when the Dodgers went on that run.

I'm not crazy into baseball, but the storylines with Boston-LA would be great. I don't think I'd even watch if it were Detoit-LA, and I 100% wouldn't watch if it were Detroit-St. Louis.

That's why I need the Cards to lose. I need the ALCS game to get bumped down to 4:30.

Speaking of that... has anyone else's cable had serious jacked up running times on these games? The 8:00 FOX games run from 7:30 to 10:30 but don't actually start until 8:00 and usually don't end until 11:45. It's wreaking havoc on my DVR.
