(fact) I can tell just by Front Page unviewed threads and New Post page being much less populated that member involvement is down. (opinion - but I have a trained eye for this so it's basically fact) Visitor traffic might be up but new content has trailed off. (opinion)

I haven't changed my stance. I believe in what I said but I throw in the white towel when I don't have facts, and my opinion would just cause argument. I have a crawl space to tend to.

Starting 1-3 will do that though. The same thing happened in 2014 when we slipped late in the season. It's a short term hit as people do less posting and more drinking.

But Mike on ISD said their membership hit an all time high between Saturday - Monday after the Duke loss. And that makes sense kind of - people want to complain, ask why, debate who should replace who, etc.

Your feeling is correct in my mind. I should have been keeping daily stats on new threads, new members and posts. Great info to have. Oh to be able to compare the first month of last season to the first month of this season. Priceless info.

If this was my board, I'd have a Troll Cave where all trolls are free to interact with the locals. If they get banned in the regular Forum, they can still hang in the Troll Cave The visitor #'s would skyrocket. Everybody wants a piece of Shamrock Nation.
