Cardinal lead by 9 at the half. Neither time showing much offense with both averaging about 3.8 yds per pass ans per carry. Each side have an Int.

UL has the only TD, a safety, and a FG.

SYR had two time management muffs to end the half. First SYR's QB tried to call a time out with about 20 seconds to play. His team had already burned their T.O.s. He hurried to the line and spiked but wasted 8-10 seconds. He then hit a long pass to UL's 2. The WR tried to call a T.O. But again there were none available. Cuse scrambled to the LOS and spiked the ball. Ref ruled time expired before the spike hit the ground Half over.

Cuse repeatedly shoots themselves in the feet, both feet. After the ESPN announcers fawned over the UL #3 ranked defense with , "They haven't allowed a touchdown since the 3rd quarter at Virginia. Their ranked 2nd in 3rd down conversion defense" Cuse connected on 48 yd pass to covert 3rd down into a First and Goal at the 1.

Then Cuse hemoraged.
Gulley was stuffed for a 3 yd loss.
Then Hunt hit at wide open receiver in the EZ and the ball bounced off the receiver's chest for an incompletion.
Then QB Hunt ran wide right on a planned play but had no opening. He pulled up scrambled around a little bit and threw a TD pass into the Endzone. Unfortunately one of the OLs had gotten into the second level for the planned run play. When the run broke down he tried to waddle back out of the EZ but was called for Ineligible receiver downfield.
Now back around the 20 Hunt hit a WR at the 6.
On 4th down SYR kicked the FG.

On two straight possessions they had 1st ang Goal at the 2 and 1st and Goal on the 1 and they got a total of 3 points.
