Couldnt care less about this game may not even watch it. Standard answer if I want to watch pro football I'll watch it on Sunday. College ball has lots its place for me as far as the sport that I once loved to watch-many feel this way and only a resurgent Notre Dame program could change many peoples mind. Problem is Notre Dame is no better than Toledo.

Floyd Mayweather dropped $3 mil on Michigan to cover the spread.

Floyd Mayweather Betting $3 Million on Michigan Wolverines?

Floyd Mayweather is known for his ostentatious gambling bets and if the latest rumor is true, the legendary boxer has reached a new level of wagering.
According to the popular sports handicapping and gossip Twitter account @incarceratedbob, “Money” Mayweather has placed a cool $3 million bet on the Michigan Wolverines for this Saturday’s game between No. 8 Michigan and No. 2 Alabama on Saturday night in Cowboys Stadium.
Michigan is a 14-point underdog to the defending national champions.
The Twitter account for the gambling website Sportsbook.ag has also tweeted the rumor, adding that 69% of their bettors have done the opposite of Mayweather and wagered on Alabama. Mayweather has made headlines in the past by betting $400,000 on Alabama for last January’s BCS Championship Game and $1 million on the New England Patriots to beat the Denver Broncos in last season’s NFL playoffs – both of which landed him a hefty pay day. Mayweather certainly has the money to spend after recently being named the highest-paid athlete in America by Sports Illustrated with a whopping $85 million salary, but we’re guessing we won’t be seeing him in any of the NCAA’s “don’t bet on college sports” ads anytime soon.

And you think all of us are delusional?

Toledo is not better than ND.

ND Nation has a username and post count warmed up for you.

Wait a minute. I think I am delusional. I cannot believe what I just read! What the fuk is your problem? You narcisistic, pedantic line of bull shiit is getting a bit overwhelming.

I love the Rockets. But they are Bancroft High. I don't care if they beat a Purdue team that beat ND. They are not even in the same league with Notre Dame. They are a tough squad in the MAC, from a blue collar town. They handled Marshall in it's heyday, and have stopped quite a few NFL quarterbacks. But to use them as a low mark is equally reprehensible.

They are a wonderful mix of guys that don't have first tier talent, or the grades, or have one other factor that held them back. Like I said the other day, they had the best "less that 6 foot quarterback" in all of college football. Chuck Ealey won the Ohio high school championship for a school that had never been, and never lost a game in highschool and college. If they would have extended the season, he would have won more. He beat Lou, and Lou is a fan.

So much for Toledo. I don't get how anyone who thought that they had anything to say worthwhile about football, would make a statement like, "Problem is Notre Dame is no better than Toledo." I have news for you I who love both don't want to hear stupid statements like this, and I am sure that nobody else does either. Take it on the road.

I never know how to answer these questions. I cannot actually bring myself to root for Michigan, but the smart, unemotional part of my brain knows that it is better for us if they win, because they are on our schedule and Bama is not. Also, I am extremely bored by SEC supremacy and would love to see Bama lose to a Big 10 team. I guess I'd like to see Michigan squeak out a tough 10-7 win, in the process giving us great film on how to keep Denard in check.

Here is the way I look at it, our schedule is tough enough as it is so we don't need Michigan to beat Alabama to make us look better when we beat them. That will take care of itself. Secondly, if/when ND beats Michigan on Sept 22nd then it is just looked at as a quality rivalry game win, however, do you realize how many people would be talking about a Michigan win over Alabama? I want them to get crushed and then I want us to crush them and then I want everyone else to crush them. In no way does Michigan winning against Alabama help us.

As for the SEC supremecy, I am with you, but I would much rather it be SEC domination than the B1G, especially Michigan. Let the South get theirs. We shouldn't want any team in the Midwest to be good except ND.

If Michigan were to win that would be HUGE for their recruiting. I didn't think I would ever say this but Roll Tide!

Fitz suspended one game, will NOT play against Bama.

Now Mayweather, about that bet...
.

Statement from Head Coach Brady Hoke on running back Fitzgerald Toussaint and defensive end Frank Clark: "Fitzgerald Toussaint and Frank Clark have been suspended for one game and will not make the trip to Dallas for Saturday's game. "The decision was not easy, but I feel it is in the best interest of this program and for these kids, and those always will be my priorities. We have choices every day, and you have to be accountable to this program, your teammates, your family and the University of Michigan. "These are our sons. These are real lives, and I think too often many people forget that. It's not always just about football, or a football decision. It's about teaching life lessons, and if this helps these kids or someone else make a right decision later, then we've won. That is ultimately what we are here for, to help them grow and mature to become better sons, fathers, husbands and members of society. "They are good young men who made poor choices, and we will continue to support them as members of our team and family."

Y'all still happy that Bama a jail sex'd UM?

I could only be happier if 6 other teams had done the same this season. ND would then have a couple of game lead instead of trailing by a couple games in the battle for The All-Time Winningest Percentage.
