Your point is well taken. But, to be fair, it is a more important stat for quarterbacks, who have arguably more influence on the outcome of a game than any other position player of any team game.
Not to be a d!ck, but did you go to bed at halftime?
All you needed to know were the stats they put up of how many 1000 yard rushers and receivers and also Pro Bowlers on both sides of ball Manning has had over Brady. You know Brady doesn't have much of a receiving core when his best WR is a 5'8" white guy every year.
Give me Brady all day , every day. Manning has more/better stats but Brady is all about wins.
nope...they turned the ball over three times right away leading to easy scores by denver.
take those away and coupled with the way the pats came out in the 2nd half they should have very easily been in position to win.
But.....they did win. I think his point was that your first post made it seem like you thought they lost and yor second post hasn't done much to dispel that notion.

i mis-spoke i see what i did now...my apologies.
should have said would have won easily.
my fault...basically i'm saying this game was way closer than it should have been.
fixed original posts again apologies
Manning no question
Yeah that is totally fair. Hard to win a game when you turn it over, especially when you turn it over so often early and spot a HOF QB a three score lead, and eventually go down by 24. Unfortunately turnovers happen, and it's a pretty good sign for a team to be able to fight its way back. Most teams just go into the tank at that point. Sloppy football and falling behind 24-0 isn't the mark of a great team, but overcoming that is. How many teams in the league do you think would have come out at halftime and won that game against Denver? I think not many.
Manning is the best qb of maybe all time. He is a qb that you can put anywhere and he will succeed. Brady is good but he's just a system qb; case in point? Matt Cassel
I don't mean this as an insult, so don't take it that way. But you're pretty young, right?
I'm just assuming that you never got to see Joe Montana in his prime or Dan Marino, etc?
It's interesting how different generations see the Mt Rushmore of NFL QB's.
Old enough to have seen marino, young, manning, montana, brady, rodgers, elway, favre, moon, kelly and all the great qbs from the 80's till now. I thought Marino was the greatest of all time until Manning. I tie Montana in with Brady, good qbs that had a great system to play in.
If I was choosing who I would want for a single game, I would choose Manning. If I was choosing who I would want for a whole season(playoffs included), I am choosing Brady everyday of the week. And that comes from someone who despises the Patriots and Brady.

So you are at least 30?
Blake Barnett > that malik zaire kid > Rodgers > Manning-Brady > Tebow
