What would it take to get Coach Holtz to handle the pre-game, halftime and post game wrap ups for ND home games??? Come on NBCSports, make it happen and bring back Alex Flannigan to be his co-host and have Samardzija be the 3rd guy after the season ends (insert Sox joke here Cubs fans)

Just one year is all I ask. With Coach on board it's guaranteed to be magical.

Alex, Lou and Bettis would make a great three person team for pregame and post game....

A stuffy response to your Q would be

"Make sure you understand the conversation, and context of the conversation, before you start making friends"

Or,,, just watch CFB Game Day like the rest of us and you'll laugh along..

guessing (only thing I could do) is he assumed we were playing another card, instead the Michigan card. Or he just didn't laugh at Dez's comment. I personally liked the "good in the hood" comment about USC.

edit
F... Michigan

Yea, Stuffy internet friends.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

To go in-depth: I haven't had any problems with your posts, but talking down to people who post here and calling most of them stuffy, is not a great way to get people to like you. So if you feel like people are disrespectful towards you, the first thing you should turn attention to is your own posting and how you've possibly been disrespectful towards others. Fix that and then maybe you'll find people are a bit more tolerable and friendly. Also, don't get so worked up over everything and remember that just because you have a thought doesn't mean you need to post it.

hahaha back to Lou......

For those of us 'uppity stuffy britches' who have Sirius XM, I believe coach Holtz is going to be a regular contributor to their college sports channel. Channel 84 on Sirius. He was on with Jack Arute and Houston Nutt yesterday afternoon. Best part was he was real Holtz not ESPN Holtz and he had some great stories with Houston Nutt from when Holtz was a coach at Arkansas.

We all know how Lou is...can't stay inactive for long. He'll stay busy, not good but a great thing. He's not shy about being an ND homer, but everything else he has to say is worth listening to as well. I was fortunate enough to see him speak in Orlando, fan-freaking-tasic!!!

Yes
Love me some Lou. Saw him speak several years back before I moved to ATL.
Now I'm going to have to get the Sirius in my Jeep turned back on.

Edit: My uppity jeep
