Sherman is now my least favorite NFL player. I actually like Russell Wilson alot as well as some of the Seahawks, I don't hate Pete Carroll like many ND fans do but Sherman is a disgrace to the game. I got a ton of respect for his game on the field but he has no class.

I hope Peyton Manning pulls off a performance of the ages and has an all timer of a game in the Super Bowl.

Agree. Sherman isn't one of those "you would LOVE him and his crazy antics if he was on your team" type of guys, he's just a complete and utter douche. Period.

I actually had the pleasure one day of meeting Richard Sherman at my cousin's wedding (both played for stanford, w/ my cousin now a part of the colts) and he seems like the type of guy that away from the field he is a chill, cool guy. He said what's up, gave me a handshake and chatted it up with our table for about 15mins...He has the mentality that you kinda want out of a corner...sure he could be a little less abrasive but that's the personality (outside of Russell Wilson and a few others) of this Seahawks team...Look at their Coach, their DB's/DEF, and dare I even say look at Golden out there on the field sometimes...Let's see who is talking after the Superbowl though!

Golden's definitely turned into a prick. I tried defending him to one of my buddies who is a Cardinals fan, but it's impossible. At the end of the day, the team has a massive chip on their collective shoulder and it shows. All things considered, I'd rather have players like that than players (like the Bears) that roll over and play dead under pressure.

I liked Sherman even through that interview with Erin Andrews. But seeing these post-game interviews where he has had time to calm down makes me think he is an asshat. He doesn't sound intelligent at all, certainly not for a Stanford grad.

He was only targeted twice the whole game!!!! That speaks volumes. Plus their D kept Vernon Davis quiet, stifled Boldin mostly, and Gore was non-existent.

I couldn't post till today because I was so butt hurt, pissed and slightly drunk after the game. I'm glad I waited because I might have called Sherman a no good, piece of shit, low life, egg sucking, butt faced, pimple on a cow's ass, loud mouth prick and Carroll a jackass, butt licking, tick on a horse dick, fuck face. I also might have mentioned that the refs should all be prison raped by a pigmy tribe of headhunters with leprosy.

Man I'm glad I waited till I calmed down a bit.
