How his career arc does not rival Ryan Leaf's will be a minor miracle. What an awful QB.

What was the hype on that guy?

That he is.

This game could very well end 3-0, unless Cutler throws a pick 6 (or two).

Who are you guys rooting for? I'm simply anti-Cutler because of my fantasy matchup.

Jay Cutler right now is a product of his terrible offensive line. He does make poor decisions, but he has to run for his life every other offensive play. Doesn't make life very easy on an NFL quarterback...

Well, to be fair you could also say it's the WR or the play calling. The ball needs to come out of his hands in about half the time he's taking. Run some bubble screens, slants, etc. Running deep crossing routes is what's getting him killed.

I lived in Chicago for 3 and a half years, including their last Super Bowl appearance, so I like to see them do well, not necessarily a Bears fan. And Cutler is a pud.

Don't really have a pro team I'm passionate about, so I like to see our ND guys do well. So Tuck can have 3 sacks, and Bears win 5-3 with a FG drive and a safety to overcome a 6 pick performance by Cutler.

Go route, go route, go route, punt. That should be the strategy. 8 sacks, 5 yards of offense.

How are the Giants not up 20 points right now?

As a Bears fan, I'm just happy the Giants were willing to play along and keep us in the game. Yikes.

Hopefully Matt Dodge uncorks another liner to Hester at some point.

I'm a Browns fan so basiclly I don't have a team...

I root for players... love McNabb, Manning (the good one) and Justin Tuck... the last means I often root for the G men... plus dad is a major cheese head (liken it to my ND fandom) so I kind of go against the Bears whenever possible.

Jay Cutler is plain aweful.., I watched bits and pieces of that game and was amazed that in the entire first half, Chicago had an amazing 22 yards total offense. It's amazing that they were 3-0 coming into last night's game because they sure looked aweful against the Giants and they didn't look all that great either. I have to hand it to the Giants Defense and of course Justin Tuck, great game by him.

Cutler didn't look good, but that wasn't on him. Just about the worst pass blocking ever in that game...and a D-Line that was confident and teeing off at every opportunity.

I will say that the offensive line was horrible last night. They got two of their quarterbacks banged up with Collins getting walloped in the 2nd half. It seemed like the Giants were always in the backfield.

The Bears offensive line has been awful for 4 years now. Grossman and Orton got killed behind make shift lines and now it's no different. I'm not sure how they managed decent protection in the first 3 games? I guess the Giants are that much better on the defensive front.

Does anyone here realize Cutler was knocked out to the game early with a concussion? Not sure how the Dr. would notice with the kid being such a Rhodes Scholar to begin with. That is why the O was in the tank the whole game.

And when exactly was the last time the Bears developed a QB? I am a Bears fan and it never ceases to amaze me the people that are surprised by poor QB play by the Bears. Defense and special teams are their hallmark and they have pretty good units again this year. They need to be in order to make up for their perennial bed wetting QB situation.

They are now saying that Cutler may have got that concussion a lot earlier than previously thought in the game. So basically he didn't know where he was most of the 2nd quarter.

Cutler was sacked an NFL record 8 times in half!! their oline is atrocious. As previoulsy said, they got 2 QB's knocked out of the game.

And when exactly was the last time the Bears developed a QB?.

Never - they didnt even develop McMahon, they rode his talents till he got hurt.

What was the hype on that guy?

he has a strong arm, can make the deep throws and the 25 yard out patterns. his accuracy is decent to pretty good.

He lost me when he said that his own arm was as strong as John Elways arm. - FAIL

Have you ever looked at the single season and career passing records of the Bears? It's pathetic. I think they've had like a handful of 300 yd passing games in the history of the franchise and most of those are from guys like Sid Luckman.

Then you look at single players like Favre, Manning, Marino, ect that have had like 65+ 300 yd games in their careers. It's sad.

Not only does he like Notre Dame, but did anyone see how bad this team was yesterday without him? Thats twice that he has gone out and the Bears get totally exposed. The Bear's offensive line is probably the second worst line next to the Eagles, and when Cutler is in, they are one of the best teams in the league. If Cutler could stay healthy, then the sky is the limit for the guy.

But without him... my Bears are **cked....

Yep. Our OL is absolutely atrocious. It was laughable watching Aldon Smith literally toss them around, like the play he drove Carimi back 7-8 yds into Campbell.

Carimi was suppose to be a "cant miss" prospect. Only the Bears could screw up a can't miss offensive lineman.

Lovey needs to fire Holt and hire a real offensive line coach.
