I wonder if tillery just keeps an overnight bag on campus, all the essentials.
A girl I knew a few years ago kept one of these in her trunk. She called it her whore bag.

Christian:
- Ykili Ross is very excited for his visit. Not on commit watch though.
- ND's preference is Safety to CB but Ross and Marshall are definite takes.
- Ronald Jones: They have been working on him for a long time. While they still prefer Soso, Jones is their preferred choice behind Soso and even that gap is very close.
- Speaking of Soso. No new news. Still believe it be a ND-UCLA battle. The thinking is maybe he likes the process HOWEVER he may be waiting too long when its all said and done.
- Dexter Williams is visiting next week.
- Plans for Ronnie Harrison to visit next week are still being worked on and there's a chance he might not even come. Unsure right now.
- Nothing new on Ben Edwards. ND-Stanford-UCLA is the current battle.
- Gary Jennings is a versatile player who could play safety or WR. They are expecting Jennings and his family to like the visit. Jennings' father is in the FBI so Christian thinks he will be impressed with the total package ND presents.
- The battle for A'lize Jones is very much alive. Its still only an ND-UCLA battle and Jones is a definite take no matter what.
- Coach Booker has been upfront and honest with Lawrence Cager the entire process and that has led Cager to keep ND in the running. He has spoken to Brian Kelly which was important. The trip to Alabama isn't a surprise because he was originally visiting Alabama when he bumped them in favor of visiting ND. He is still visiting Dec. 12.
- Another mention on Ykili Ross. His dad, despite being an SC fan said he will not hold Ykili back from going wherever he wants. He said he talks to Coach Elliott while Ykili Ross talks to Coach Cooks. He hasn't talked to Brian Kelly yet so this weekend is huge. His dad was able to talk to the man "with the funny mustache" when he stopped at the school.
- Nothing new on Cam Scarlett. He's slowed down his visits but nobody has a feel for who leads.
- Major props are being given Megan Whitt. Christian says she has been instrumental in upping the game for unofficial and official visits. She has been the reason why recruits have been giving more praise to their visits as she has been able to add the "home" feeling for them. ISD expects the banquet to be the biggest one yet and showcases such as Junior Day and Irish Invasion will be bigger and better then ever before.
- Notes about Brad Hawkins and Damar Hamlin but its the usual they are excited and want to visit bit.
- 2017 QB Hunter Johnson is visiting. Tommy Kraemer will be in town and so will 2016 OL Noah DeHond. 2016 WR Roddrick Bryant will also be in town and a name to watch moving forward. 2016 CB Baylen Buchanan is visiting and is the son of former CB Ray Buchanan. ND will know where they stand with him after this weekend.
- 2016 DT Antwaun Jackson is a tough pull from down south but he's wanting to hear more from the Irish.
- DeShone Kizer is given praise as he is further along in his development then most QBs at this stage. Look for ND to look for athletes to play QB for the 2016 cycle especially those who could play another position.
Ronnie Harrison is a long shot for the Irish at this point. Seems Fla, Georgia, and Texas are pushing hard for him right now. End of the day, I expect Bama to keep him but Fla sneaking in would not shock me either.
Agreed, his OV would be like a lottery ticket. Why not see what happens, with very little risk.
I am not 100% sure ND is really pushing Harrison. They are about to go all in for Ross and Edwards. They have DBs that can play either CB or S and Ross can definitely slide into either position.
I think the staff is saying they'll look at 2016 QB/ATH so if they need to make a position change due to Kizer being entrenched as the starter moving forward they'd have some options. I don't think Kizer would be moved.Interesting that Kizer is mentoined as an ATH who could play other positions.

anyone care to pass on the intel that dropped today?
McDoom. That is all.
sounds like a win in LA tomorrow could pay off big with recruiting.
ISD Intel for tomorrow:
- Ron Jones is visiting with his mother who is pro-ND. Alford has been key to this whole thing and ND has a great shot. However, do or die as Christian put it. Mom will be with him and she's pro-ND.
- Another RB name to look out for is a RB who was on UAB last season and could play immediately. (On my phone. Name slipped my mind.)
- Jordan Cronkite is also a name to watch. As for Jeremy Smith, not visiting but it appears it's more ND then Smith.
- ND still feels good about A'lize Jones who is visiting with Nico. ND will take him and 1 other WR but not 2 WRs.
- Tristen Hoge moved in this week.
- Source tells Christian that it is a legit QB battle and either one can win but look for the reigns to be pulled back in order to protect the defense. (Where was this earlier?)
- As for the rumors of BK and the NFL: A recruits parent flat out asked him and the parent told Christian "It's not for him." Parent was satisfied.
Yes Jordan Howard
Ohhh that would be great. He's a big boy. Him and Jones would be awesome.
I love this big body RB type we are after. Is BK considering a goal line package!? Noooooo...
Serious question... against Rice didn't we have some sort of wing T offense in the redzone? I know we did early but never saw it again. Why was that?
I have no recollection of the Wing T, but I was only able to catch bits and pieces of the opener this season. But....I'm guessing the formation didn't work, cause BK has a history of bailing on new formations and schemes the second they don't work.
Best BK move ever (and is so BK it hurts) was the USF game in 2010 when we brought in defenders on the goal line (I remember Fleming and Carlo...maybe a DL also?) to block. Then, Gray fumbled and it was returned for a TD. He's never brought in a defender on the goal line since.
BK also stopped setting up the punt return after the Cuse punter ran for about 50 yards this year.
We've also been in kick-safe every time since the MSU fake FG.
Whenever BK gets burned by something on the field, he refuses to let it happen again. Even if it means sacrificing something like the punt return or the potential to block a FG.
That hurts to read. I am going to look for what I was talking about because it had Luatua out there for it and I was excited about the goal line package. Then it disappeared....
