We had a SSL that’s as supposed to be good for 3 years. Dunno who at GoDaddy or Digital Ocean fucked it up but we ended up having to pay someone to fix it. On the GoDaddy page it literally said good until end of 2026 and yet site wasn’t loading.

I've been told that's all the winter transfers and that there should be another batch in the spring after some guys have finished degrees / lost position battles. I was surprised no QBs took off for greener pastures.

I have to admit it seemed like a lot of big news last night with Bowen and OSU’s Hero Kanu hitting the portal (but I know, that ship sailed long ago) and I had withdrawal symptoms needing to see what the IE peeps were going to say about all the big news!

It is on our radar. Research on our issue seems to point to extremely heavy bot traffic at random times overloading our server. We get a LOT of fake bot user registration requests daily.

Honestly, probably too many prospective DT’s trying to join to site to make their own recruiting profiles if I had to guess.

Yes many times over the last few weeks.

My understanding is that the large amount of registrations requests isn't the problem, just indicates extremely heavy traffic from certain parts of the world. The traffic in general is overloading the servers, not the registrations requests themselves.

We do a good job of keeping the registrations requests monitored and clearing out the bots/spam, but when India and Russia send thousands and thousands of bots to visit the site, our servers struggle lol
