Thor was good, liked that they changed it up as the marvel movies have been starting to get a little stale minus GotG

Also liked it alot. It was very (almost too) campy but I think we will need it with the Infinity War looming. Visually great. Musically ... i loved the score. Loved the cameos.

7.5/10

My wife was watching some Thor movie (no idea if there's more than one) and I sat down and tried watching about 20 minutes or so of it............. I used to think a comic book movie with tons of pointless repetitive action was terrible, then I saw 20 minutes of Thor where all the comic book characters just stood around and talked for 20 minutes.

Stoked. I honestly feel bad for DC fans because they've been getting a crap product whereas Marvel keeps hitting home runs.

Anybody see Justice League? I thought it was much, much better than Batman Vs Superman. It was enjoyable, but far from great. Lots of problems, lots of bad CGI, and total shit villain. Also surprisingly, lots of revealing superheroes secret identities to the public. The more I keep thinking about it the lower the grade I would give it, so I just need to stop.

One of Black Panther's powers, and by far the coolest IMO, is control of the undead... I hope they find some way to incorporate that into a film at some point. Zombie Marvel!

wait...wait...wait...

undead = not dead = living, Black Panther is a King and rules controls his kingdom, thus controling the living people of his kingdom doesn't really seem all that special

I’ve watched the first four episodes of the Runaways and it’s pretty good so far. I’m disappointed it’s weekly episodes unlike the Netflix series. I’m definitely older than the target demographic but it’s still entertaining through the first four episodes.

I really hope they don't try to retcon the current X franchise. Reboot within the MCU after Infinity War.

The current X-Men franchise has been underwhelming compared to what it *could* be, but it's not terrible, either, and it seems like it's big enough that rebooting it in the next 5/6 years might still be too soon.

Plus, throwing X-Men and Fantastic 4 into the next phase of Marvel would make things mighty crowded, no? They already have that shit mapped out lol.

Yeah...and treat FF as if it has never been put on film...unless you use some sort of throw away joke like Deadpool used.

Maybe. But I have to imagine that RDJ, Evans, and Hemsworth will get sick of this at some point. But maybe not. They're not even paid by Brinks trucks anymore. Disney actually built pipes of money that flow directly into their homes.

I thought it was a foregone conclusion that RDJ and possibly Evans were going to be "done" with the MCU after Infinity War 2, saving themselves for brief cameos and mentor-like appearances.

I thought that's what they meant when they said Infinity War 2 will finally provide a solid "conclusion" prior to the next phase.

A multiverse would be confusing AF for the normies and the casuals. There's a reason Disney ditched the old Star Wars EU in favor of a cohesive canon. You need a single narrative thread or people are going to hop off.

I'm sure they'll dumb it down. I don't know how else you introduce X-Men and FF4 into the MCU. I'm sure Feige already has a plan in place though. He's probably had one all along.
