The new Spiderman was excellent.
Easily, my new favorite comic book movie surpassing Captain America 2 and 3.

It's the best version of Peter Parker to date.
I was chuckling the whole film.
From the music, to the teenage high school stuff, to the crazy new costume... I loved it.

I did get out to see this last Sunday. Just wow. The character development, the flow of the writing and natural feel of the conversations, the classic humor...I couldn't believe that it was over 2 hours long as it moved so well and progressed logically.

My biggest complaint was some of the action/sfx shots were at night and difficult to make some stuff out (at least in the 3D version I saw).

Anyone else see this yet and what did you think?


PS: Hopefully this thread heats up pretty good soon as stuff from comic-con hits the interwebs.

Go see Blade Runner 2049. As a giant movie lover that surprisingly still hasnt seen the original, I had to see this because it looked so good. I was not disappointed. Villanueve is a genius( same guy that did Siciario and Arrival). Great movie on all front.
Also on another note: If you love Star Wars as much as I do, keep an eye out on Monday, the rumor mill is saying tickets will be available for The Last Jedi!!

They should've put Black Panther in the Savage Land. That would've been cool and explained how they're able to hide all this technology.

Would the 21st Century Fox Disney merger mean X-Men and Fantastic Four gets to merge with the rest of the Marvel universe?

Ragnarok was great. It was maybe a bit too joke heavy at times but I still loved it. All of the performances were good. Good action plus it was hysterical. By far the best Thor movie and one of the best MCU movies. I definitely like the change of direction they've had with Thor's character.

I dont like this move. Disney is too big already. And Fox has been putting out good product lately.

I like it. I'd love to see some really crazy crossovers and good Fantastic 4 movie finally.

At what point are we going to start getting 4 MCU films per year? Assuming this goes down eventually Fox's 1 per year would become a Marvel movie, they already make 2 a year on their own.

Crazy times.

Fake news. You need to read the original language very carefully:

"The two sides are not currently talking at this very moment, but given the on again, off again nature of the talks, they could be revisited."

That's very specifically and carefully crafted for a reason. It doesn't say the talks have stalled, it just says there was nobody CURRENTLY in a conference room in New York at the exact second the author of the article hit "publish."

Also liked it alot. It was very (almost too) campy but I think we will need it with the Infinity War looming. Visually great. Musically ... i loved the score. Loved the cameos.
