What about Aaron Lynch's mother "I am truly blessed" posting all the time? She was always trying to quell rumors of Aaron committing to ND and then ultimately that he was going to leave ND.

I remember when Aaron finally left ND that she came on and said she was trying to talk him out of it for the longest time. She turned out to be a convicted felon in Florida I believe for something.

Either I forgot this or this is news to me. Sure enough, she was arrested for grand larceny.

HA! I completely forgot about those! Nothing like logging on at 2 in the afternoon and clicking on the "First Unread" tab of a thread...and seeing a dick pick.

The commentary we would give, as a board, on those posts was almost always A-1 level stuff too.

Damn, Lax, you're giving me all kinds of nostalgia in this thread.

Speaking of nostalgia, when did we play Clash of Clans? What year was that?

I'd love to see some of those old posters that were here when I joined log back on. Even if just for a day. This place was really something back then.

I would honestly love to have Pat back just for a day to see what he thinks of the program as it currently stands.

I can only imagine how he would find a way to call several players pussies that aren't championship-caliber.

I would also like to see if he'd eat crow on being 100% and completely fucking wrong on Drue Tranquill, or if he'd find a way to explain it away like he did with everything else he was wrong about.

I also miss reading all of his posts in Charlie Kelly's erratic/high-pitched voice, because it generally matched the insanity of his posting.

Maybe half a day or a few hours. Also, would have to be after morning coffee, lol. The morning thread bombs were the worst

FIFY.

Like everyone was wrong about Tranquill. TP was wrong. I was high on him then cooled when he couldn't make up his mind. Ohio State was wrong, Michigan, MSU, pretty much anyone who's anyone outside of PSU and ND were wrong on Tranquill.

Not everyone was wrong about Tranquill. Some of us liked his versatility, athleticism, and his potential to play multiple positions. As it turns out, those are the traits that have him as a leader on one of the best defenses in the country.

We argued with Pat about it, and I think that was the thread that ultimately got him banned.

And it's not that people were wrong to have concerns with him as a key commit, it's that Pat was unwilling to see the opposite side of any argument, in any way, shape or form.

I remember dropping in for some recruiting info and I ended up spending most of my night reading his page long rant and waiting for reactions. Good stuff.

Oh man. You guys are lucky you weren't here for signing day 07. Greg Little and Chris Little flipping on NSD. The only reason it wasn't total nuclear meltdown was cuz this board was desolate at the time due to Svoboda getting sued by Mike Frank (I think that's the story). Hindsight it's a good thing we didn't get Little because who knows how that would have effected Mike Floyd's recruitment the following class. Say it didnt, a receiving corps of Tate, Little, and Floyd to go with Rudolph at TE :cry:

The attack on bogs was an epic little moment. LA stepped down as mod and then immediately did something to get himself banned.

Koon helping Pat come back Metal Gear espionage-style and getting banned for a full off season as a result is also a classic. After seeing the alert pop up on my phone at a red light I pulled over to text Koon immediately after. Amazing.

Does anyone remember the poster Epitome? I think that was his handle. He created a thread what i am hearing...funny thing is he ruptured his ear drum or something....
