I generally like Texas' board. Mgoblog has good analysis, even if the users seem to be locked in the mode of "Priests rape kids HAHAHA aren't I funny."

There is no such thing as a good SEC board. They're like reading finger paintings done with excrement on cave walls by neanderthals. I'm not sure what drives that, exactly, but most posts on SECRant barely contain an entire cogent thought. Words are misspelled. There is a decided mistrust of anybody who "ain't on the side of Jebus" (and Catholics are not on Jebus' side). Football isn't played outside the South.

Just from my experiences on the ESPN main before i ever signed up over here... if ND does ever win another national title... I'll hit up just about every one of the links in the thread, create accounts and just politely and subtlety troll the living shit out of all of them for as long as I can before they catch on… kind of like how T Town does now…..

You really have to dig deep on the SECRant to find any substative info. But there is some... especially on the recruiting threads. Once you're out there enough, you can readily tell the ones who are in the know. The rest of the Rant is too much rah rah BS and ebbs and flows with the passing of each win and each loss. That's why I actually spend more time out here on IE. Other conversation besides football all the time is enjoyable. Plus... most of you guys are ok in T Town's book.

I actually find most fans, even of programs and conferences I despise, to be very affable on Reddit. That's why I'm boosting it here.

The SECRant has almost all posts in terms of one or two sentences or sentence fragments frequently featuring the word "shite" (sic). There is no topic consolidation, so things get rehashed again and again in the same shallow way. Even though I'm interested to hear what others think (I read mgoblog every day, for some reason), I cannot stand SECRant. Every time I go there, that speech from Billy Madison comes to mind:

Yeah I did some cursory searches but was unable to find anything. There has to be a free Penn State board somewhere, for example. But often the free board is more obscure than the premium one. 11Warriors, for example, is named after a lyric in the OSU fight song.
