Just rolling some names out. These are all G5 guys, but that's coincidence.

Steed Lobotzke, Air Force
Daryl Agpalsa, Northern Illinois
Mike Goff, San Diego State
Mike Hallett, Toledo
Brandon Jones, Houston

Hallett and Jones are both Co-OC. I assume Hallett would get a pay raise at ND.

It's a loss because Harry was a known entity and he helped build a strong OL culture. I wish him the best in his retirement and I'm sure most of us thank him for everything he did at ND.

Freeman can turn it into a gain by hiring an equally great developer with enthusiasm for recruiting so fingers crossed!

Knowing ND has known for a week we need a OL Coach.

That plane from State College, PSU OL Coach is Phil Trautwein. Was on BC staff with Al Washington.

Colorado OL Coach came from Kent St with Lewis.

Are you confirming or guessing?

Speculating. The flight tracker never lies.

Trautwein also was teammates with Laurintias on the Rams. Young guy, known as a plus recruiter. He would check many boxes as a name Freeman would reach out to regardless of OC.

Would be best if it was him and the PSU OC. That is my #1

I guess I will do it. My lines have been outstanding in high school, how hard could the jump to D1 be? How much do you think my raise would be?

10-20% but with commission the sky is the limit. If you can sign three 5 star players every cycle, I believe we can work in a bonus that is IE funded.

Trautwein was All SEC at Florida in 2008 under Lord Florida Fingertickle. Won a couple of championships there.

New Jersey guy too.

They probably told Harry to hit the bricks if we’re being honest. Surprised he survived the Marshall game.

Trolling the cult of Hiestand. Must have been what Janet Reno felt against David Caresh.

I have no idea what’s going on. I just know me and MF are glad Harry is gone.

Can’t forgive him for costing MF the Marshall and Stanford game

rethinking timing of events here.

Is it plausible that Ludwig tells MF he wants to bring OL coach along or he isnt coming. MF maybe thinking he has his "genius" established OC agrees, informs Harry, then the deal falls through. Now, Harry's bridge is burned hence the retirement.

Except by all reports HH announced his retirement to MF before Ludwig was interviewed.

numerous sources tell FootballScoop that Freeman and the Irish have had extensive, highly in-depth conversations with Matt Luke regarding the program’s vacancy coaching ...

Sources emphasized that while Luke is overwhelmingly a top target for the Irish position, the former Ole Miss head coach is not the only target. Coaches with both NFL and Southeastern Conference experience are in the mix, sources shared with FootballScoop.

That might be a good choice

Yes. All day yes.

Three years of HC experience in addition to coaching OL and TE while also being an OC. He's coached with Cutcliffe as well.

This would be fantastic.

If you parlay your OL coaching into an SEC HC job, you're prob on the right track.

His circumstances were unique in that he took over when Hugh Freeze had to go off and find God again. So his three years there were recruiting restrictions and scholarship reductions. All that being said, they took the interim tag from him and gave him three years under those circumstances. He's a good man from all that I can gather. He has deep roots with Ole Miss and he may very well want to get back to being an OC or HC, but he stepped down from UGA after 2021 to be with his family more.

Be that as it may, he was a head coach nevertheless and knows the south. He has a championship ring with UGA. 46 years young and I think he'd bring a lot to that room with the offensive staff that is already in place.
