Yes. All day yes.

Three years of HC experience in addition to coaching OL and TE while also being an OC. He's coached with Cutcliffe as well.

This would be fantastic.

If you parlay your OL coaching into an SEC HC job, you're prob on the right track.

His circumstances were unique in that he took over when Hugh Freeze had to go off and find God again. So his three years there were recruiting restrictions and scholarship reductions. All that being said, they took the interim tag from him and gave him three years under those circumstances. He's a good man from all that I can gather. He has deep roots with Ole Miss and he may very well want to get back to being an OC or HC, but he stepped down from UGA after 2021 to be with his family more.

Be that as it may, he was a head coach nevertheless and knows the south. He has a championship ring with UGA. 46 years young and I think he'd bring a lot to that room with the offensive staff that is already in place.

That might be a good choice

The drawback to this is that it leaked out. The Gino hire was very quiet and got done.

It's great that they reached out and he interviewed, but I am inclined to wish that nobody knew about it because that would probably give it a better chance of getting done.

I think it might be hard to get him, in any case. Depends how much he is enjoying retirement at 46.

It would too good to be true, honestly. Rees leaving for Bama results in Parker as OC, Matt Luke at OL and Gino at QB? It really rounds out well all the way around. Offensive terminology doesn't change, Freeman has two guys around him he can trust on offense and Luke brings three years of HC experience with a 'ship ring at his last stop.

I really like Callahan for OL coach though there is some slight bias there.

Didn't realize he had a son coaching until now.

OK. But when Aaron Taylor brought in the Joe Moore award in the meeting, the OLine blew the ceiling off roaring and rushed Harry and nearly crushed him with affection.
