Wore my "Brian Kelly is my Homeboy" t-shirt to class last night. Can't seem to sleep.. feel like a kid who stayed up all night waiting for Christmas morning!

It's a National AND Religious Holiday!
Opening weekend! Started Thursday...it's like Hanukkah.
It is a multi day holiday.

just said a prayer to saint sebastian (patron saint of athletes) for the strength and safety of all athletes (outside of the punishment our team will bring to usf).

have the golden helmet on the coffee table. game day jerseys for everybody (wife and daughter), dogs included (2 of them).

rub the helmet for good luck. waiting for the game now. i'll have guinnness during the game and some snacks. that's for this week though.

next week we are planning to hook up with a local irish fan club at a bar.

Tension high at my house. The wife has already said she's going into work while I scream at the TV for 4 hours. My son asked her... "What would you rather watch, my kids shows or Dad and his sports?" Her answer, "I try to tune them both out!!"

I just finished a pot of coffee.. gonna bang out some pull ups and push ups while watching OSU AKRON and UTAH ST AUBURN.. Then I will proceed to negate all of my physical efforts by eating buffalo wings and effortlessly putting down 12-15 beers.. My jersey is dry cleaned and ready to go.. The vodka is in the freezer.. the fathead is up.. next to the play like a champion sign.. My hater SEC friends are coming over at 1 and I will enjoy rubbing NDs victory in their face.

Wildman... I just polished off a half-pound of bacon. F the push-ups and pull-ups. Gonna eat chips with cheese and bean dip and a crockpot full of meatballs. Washing in down with a dozen Dos Equis and couple shots of 1800. Life is good.

Hahahaha.. I feel ya brother. I'm just so amped right now I feel like I need to exert! Your right.. Life is good. ND Football is 3 hours away.

I woke up slammed a beer calm my nerves. Now sitting here listen to Pam Ward flap her mouth. watching Auburn, Ohio State both play high school football teams. About to slam some Spotted Cow. God am i ready.
