Best thing about the win, tons to clean up. Too many pre snap and procedural penalties. Offense was behind the sticks due to our own mental mistakes which are easy fixes.

I have never in my life seen Notre Dame do that rapid punt to offense switch on such a critical fourth down, only to catch GA with an offsides. It was so beautiful. I almost shed a tear at how bold and creative that move was. I genuinely felt that was the moment we won, and could breathe.
When they switch as those offense players ran out with such purpose it was a very chest out moment.

He had single high and they ran a semi with the Tae so he had to at least honor that but was unable to get over to either sideline in time. Not sure many people would be able to. It was not a bad play by watts just a good call against the d we showed.
And a hell of a throw. Ball traveled like 50 yards on a rope.

Riley and Watts got the MVP...but can we give RJ Oben and Jordan Harrison some props too! Those two guys have done next to nothing this year and they made the two biggest plays of the game today. Without that, this game likely comes down to the wire. And I'll also shout-out Mitch Jeter. Clutch!

Bring on Penn St!

I can’t be the only one that was just standing in front of their tv stunned that ND was basically running the clock out and smacking the sec champs in the mouth. We shut some people up tonight
Nope. My buddies were texting me congratulations on the win. I kept telling them too much time on the clock. Last time a buddy texted me prematurely was 2015 Stanford game so I had to set them straight.

I immediately texted my ND buddies and said “Kelly would never!”

I was so proud to support a coach and program that made the big EV+ positive decision on 4th down, even if it took a bonehead decision by Georgia to get us there!

I just text my deceased father “We are back, baby”

There is a 100% chance someone else has that number obviously, but IDGAF.

We texted during games quite a bit. Felt right, had to do it.

Onward to Thursday

My father has always supported my passion for the Irish as a young boy even if he is a fan or an odd assortment of SE teams from the pre-80’s (Clemson, Georgia, Alabama).
