Still think Adams would have been great in the old Bronco's era offense. Great one cut and go type runner. Reminded me of Terrell Davis.

Love Josh Adams but he was a very upright runner and was very limited in the 3rd down game. I don't know if he'd overtake Price and if he's not above Price, he's not taking Aneyas Williams' 3rd down role.

Two things watching that video:

1) Shows how spoiled I am by Love and Price that I watch that tape and go "Wait, BC defenders shouldnt be able to make ground on him like that." That being said, Adams' one step cut was so beautiful I don't really care. That explosion through the line on the outside run against UNC is his Mona Lisa.

3) God help me, I miss Chip Long's misdirection in the run game. Was always so fun to watch the defense flow one way and the runningback cut behind them for a truck sized lane that wasn't there a second ago.

He's still a very active poster here, albeit a milder version this go round
Well as a member of his 6… or 7… or 8 posters that “gang up on him,” meh.

But either way, to stay on topic here: Adams was such a fun college running back. I really thought he would get another year after carrying the Eagles run game his last year due to injuries. But that just never happened. Sad to see really.

Say what you want about Chip Long, he knows how to draw up plays

Yup. Only issue was his entire, ya know, personality.

Pretty sure LAX is on record here saying there would have been a full-on offensive mutiny if he was brought back for the 2020 season.

The 2017 season was fun up until Miami. Those last three weeks were bad

Is the Freeman press conference today or tomorrow? Does camp start tomorrow or Friday?

I know that this news is "not us" anymore (and maybe someone's already mentioned it), but our guy Rocco Spindler was just noticed as a pre-season B1G first team O-Lineman (Nebraska.) To that I say: Good for you big fella, and it shows how powerfully deep our O-Line room was and is.

I truly wonder what was the deal with Golden. Is he making that much more in the pros? Usually the job expectancies in the pros isn’t very long lived unless you are coaching an exceptional team that you’re really able to achieve with. I wonder if there wasn’t more to it when he left

I think it’s as simple as he wants to coach the absolute best. I don’t blame any coach for going to the NFL.

Managing professionals instead of ass-kissing 17 year olds (and, now, constantly recruiting your own roster). An actual offseason. Probably less pressure and expectations than at a major program like ours. Unless you truly love the developing-young-men aspect of college ball it is not hard to see why coaches, especially assistants, prefer the Sunday game.
