SurgeDriskell reeks of someone who would choose Mello Yello over Mt. Dew
Army beat UTSA.Random thought - with the exceptions of Texas A&M beating McNeese St, Miami of Ohio beating a 2 win UMASS in OT, and FSU beating Charleston Southern, every team ND has played this year has lost their next game. Yes, even NIU…
Does this mean anything? I really don’t know, but seems to my this years squad really beats up on teams, with the run game and punishing defense, and takes quite a bit out of them. Seems to maybe more than a coincidence.
I'd love to smack Indiana at some point, but I really like this path to the championship.
We're 2 spots behind Texas right now. I think with a loss to Georgia they fall at least 2 spots. I would expect Georgia jumps us in that scenario, but regardless we should still be ranked Top 4 I think, and since we can't get a BYE I'm thinking we should be seeded #5 regardless once the conference championship games are all finished.Pretty sure Texas would be ahead of ND if they lost the SEC championship game

The committee has been trying to warn fans for weeks that the losers of conference championship games won't be punished much (if at all). I think it's even debatable whether Penn State will stay ahead of us even if they lose to OregonWe're 2 spots behind Texas right now. I think with a loss to Georgia they fall at least 2 spots. Sounds tough. Where would you be coming from?Anyone have experience taking an Uber to the stadium on Gameday? Trying to figure out plans
I think they mean they won’t be dropped out of the bracket with a conference championship game loss if they were already in going into the weekend. The committee has been trying to warn fans for weeks that the losers of conference championship games won't be punished much (if at all). If that kind of BS happens, we really need to think about joining the B1G
Downtown, and I don’t expect to get dropped/picked up on campus. I’m thinking of Eddy St as my destination from downtownSounds tough. Where would you be coming from?

This would make the most sense (and is a good argument to avoid joining a conference lol). No matter what happens, we're probably destined to play an SEC team in the first roundI think they mean they won’t be dropped out of the bracket with a conference championship game loss if they were already in going into the weekend.
The losing team will definitely drop in the seeding.
Yeah, makes no sense if the losing team doesn't at least drop in the seeding. If they don't drop Penn State below us should they lose, we might as well join a conference at that point because there would be no advantage to skipping a CCG. We'd be missing out on not only getting a BYE, but also having the best possible playoff seeding going forward.I think they mean they won’t be dropped out of the bracket with a conference championship game loss if they were already in going into the weekend.

Despite all of the flaws that get pointed out regularly..........
Yeah, and oddly enough the 5 spot doesn't even look like the best path. Looks like Penn State has the best path at #6.Narrator: They did not drop Penn State below us.
