It happened to me once. I couldn’t sleep at all the night before. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I wasn’t driving.
Plan on going a day or two early. Wanna hit some bars and see the grotto. Any other suggestions are welcome

Most people arrive on Friday afternoon. Since this is your first time, try for Thursday if you can swing it. That’ll give you extra time to really see everything.

On Saturday, I recommend walking through the Joyce and Stadium lots. Idk what it’ll be like for the Miami (OH) game, but the tailgating atmosphere at ND is normally very good. It’s something to experience. Even if you don’t know anyone, I’d say 90%+ of ND fans will happily have a beer with you.

This, plus I imagine you'll want to get something at the bookstore. Go on Thursday or Friday as it is a sardine can on Saturdays.

This thread has a bunch of advice.

Not sure where to ask this, but where is the best place to get tickets. I wanna go to the Miami game on the 21st. I've never been to South Bend and this will be a bucket list event for me.
Wasnt the Miami game scratched?

The ESPN.com has updated their way too early rankings for next season and the Irish get a nice bump.

Movin on up, movin on up, to the top 5, to the top 5...

5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Previous ranking: 10

2023 record: 10-3

Winter update: The Fighting Irish weren't bad in coach Marcus Freeman's first two seasons, winning 19 games. But it's time for them to turn the corner, and Freeman has laid the groundwork by adding former Duke quarterback Riley Leonard and bringing back offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, who directed LSU's high-flying offense in 2023. Leonard underwent ankle surgery to repair an injury suffered last season. He is expected to be ready for spring practice in March. The Irish also added receivers Kris Mitchell (Florida International) and Beaux Collins (Clemson) to shore up an underwhelming receiver corps. Finding replacements for bookend tackles Joe Alt and Blake Fisher will be a priority in spring practice.

Seems about right, defense should be outstanding next year, and they identified the most glaring weaknesses offensively, as the article pointed out. Jagusah looked really good in the bowl game, going to be huge to develop him quickly this offseason. I'm going to miss Audric but I'm very excited for Love and Price to increase their workload.

And it would set up real real nice for the expanded playoff if we are in the 5 hole for this new goat rope.
