Yeah, I'm sure it's not that easy to find kids smart enough to get into ND, rich enough to afford ND and talented enough athletically to hang with ND's scholarship players. When it comes to recruiting walk-ons for the demo squad the staff has to take what it can get.

They're walk-ons. Probably not much thinking involved.

Yeah most linebackers in high school are between 180-200. Just to get guys that are 200+ for practice walk-ons is great.

Practice squad. How did I miss that? lol

Betting against Notre Dame's spread is one of the easiest ways to make money in sports betting.

I have actually been doing this for years. Very true. I also recommend it to others who are interested. LOL.

Works the other way too. When we are the underdog, it seems like we tend to cover more often than not.

I never bet on ND to lose the game though. Ever.

Yep, no matter the odds I will never take a bet that has ND losing.

Assume Notre Dame is favored against Purdue by 11 points. That means the Vegas line will be Notre Dame -11. This also means Purdue is the underdog.

91% of the time this season, if you bet the underdog when they play Notre Dame, you win money. Meaning, in the scenario above, if you took Purdue +11 points, you win 91% of the time.

This is an absurd winning ratio. Absurd.

How did these guys get 91%? We played 13 games. Even if there was a push in a game or two, there is no way to mathematically get to 91% haha

And the one time I did (betting all my vbucks on Duke to beat ND this year in bball) I lost everything :(

I feel for ya. I have friends and co-workers all the time that try to get me to do so as some sort of sick joke. I can proudly say I haven't.

Is this the data that finally proves ND gets most teams best shot? I am only being half serious, but it does beg the question. I mean, this is an absolutely crazy statistical anomaly. I work in the casino industry and I posed this question to a "someone" I know and he couldn't believe the ATS numbers.

Do anyone know of the best website to look at past betting results? I can get the information just would rather find it on the net if possible.

Don't know the website, but I think another reason for this high statistic is "Joe Public" is always ND heavy. Those setting betting lines know ND will get pounded hard in bets; thus, when ND giving 6-7 points, in reality, you could argue they should only be giving 4-5. Vegas knows this.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense but people are still making money betting both sides which reflect why the line is what it is to begin with and subsequently, why it moves later. If Vegas knows theyll get heavy bets on a specific team (Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Yankees, Duke (bball) etc.), you always make the other side's bet as attractive as possible. This balances the bets which is what Vegas makes money on anyway.

Hopefully I can find enough time to look at other major programs and see what they are like in relation to ND's data.

Sampson is going to be dropping some winter workout stuff from time to time as it comes avaiable. First tidbit, Smythe is up to 248lbs. Tj then stated that the staff expects him to be potentially another outstanding ND TE. Also mentioned Mike H. as being nasty and aggressive but having a different role.

Use them as a Gronk/Hernandez combo? That combo in a college hurry up offense would be deadly.

College hurry up could be a thing of the past if purposed rules changes are accepted.
