I think he can still redshirt because he played so little.
For a medical redshirt, you had to have played in 30% or less of your scheduled games before your season ending injury. Greg Bryant only played in 3 games so he falls into that 30%.
But, it's the NCAA, so you never know.
Look at Jamoris Slaughter, went down with an Achilles week 3 last season, but somehow wasn't granted a 6th year.
