I might be reading too much into this but BK mentioned Greg Bryant redshirting and playing next year. If he was transferring, I don't think BK would've mentioned GB at all

GB played.

ND's preeminent football statistician, Brian Fremeau, created this:

It's apparently available as a poster from Chartball.com.

I think he can still redshirt because he played so little.

For a medical redshirt, you had to have played in 30% or less of your scheduled games before your season ending injury. Greg Bryant only played in 3 games so he falls into that 30%.

But, it's the NCAA, so you never know.

Look at Jamoris Slaughter, went down with an Achilles week 3 last season, but somehow wasn't granted a 6th year.

I would imagine they are a bit less accommodating when you're looking for a 6th year instead of a 5th, but like you said it's the NCAA so all bets are off.

A medical redshirt, and being granted a sixth year of eligibility are two different things.

Jamoris' problem was that there was no documentation from the Weis staff for his freshman injury. He was fine with his fifth year injury under Kelly, but for six years both have to be well documented. The first wasn't.

Where can one get a copy?

EDIT: Okay, I was just kidding and didn't use the "I". I thought I would create an "homage" to all the repeat questions as of late, including but not limited to the Martini-Bamma Offer, ramba-lam!

It'd be funny to hear Pat try and rationalize that stat, haha.

What do Auburn, LSU, and ND have in common?

Only teams that have a win over the top 4. Feels good to say that.
