I hope Tyson Ford isn't the one to transfer. Can't speak to his limitations or struggles, but he and his mom have seemed all in since day 1. She seems like an Irish super fan, I've been pulling for them. I'm not sure the move from DE to DT has worked out, I always thought we should have kept him at end, but they asked him to move and put on a bunch of weight and so he did for us. Would kind of suck to have a decently sought out DE that had lots of good offers, then move him to DT, and then have him transfer because he isn't working out there.

Do you know if he's still at DT? It feels like SDE could be wide open if Oben ends up at WDE.

EDIT: Also, WDE looks pretty crowded even without Oben. Bothelo, Traore, Burnham, Tuihalamaka...

In practice videos he seems noticeably less athletic than his position mates

I believe he is, unless something recently changed. I would think he would have to drop back down in weight if he was moving back to end.

Prister seems to be one of those guys who always knows after it happens. Or waits until the end of the season to reveal spring practice info.

Why would it be Traore?
He's got nothing but upside for us, but probably hasn't done enough yet to get noticed by the big spenders' booster clubs. Why leave?
(And FWIW, while I am a one-man Traore hype machine, I don't know that I'd really call him a "prominent name." Even half our fans probably don't know who he is yet. But they will.)

Why are we trying to guess who Prister is totally guessing about. This is pretty dumb. He said he had no inside info just a total guess that a prominent name would jump in the portal. He doesn’t have any concrete evidence of anyone just a total hunch. Even if it is an educated hunch it’s still a total hunch.

Was he talking players or IE members? I heard @ACamp1900 was offered more money to post Salma Hayek pics on Mgo blog Michigan forum… he’s been missing for awhile so that would explain his absence…

I don't know that he said he doesn't have any inside info. I don't recall him saying that. He is speculating based on inside info he's received and said if it happens he'll confirm that's who he was talking about.

O’Malley said he could think of eleven names off the top of his head. I don’t like when they do this. It’s total conjecture. They did say the nd staff has to deal with a bunch of tampering by other staffs. I think we are probably guilty of this as well

Agree speculating on transfers by name is kinda gross. It's why I prefer to conjecture reasons why guys WON'T transfer.
But yeah I'm sure other programs are making runs at our guys, just like we made a run at Duke's QB. It's part of the game now. Fortunately we have some built-in advantages when playing defense, but we're not going to win every time.
