This is a shitty situation not only because the players are going to get suspended but because of the negative energy it brings. Considering that, everyone needs to take a step back and calm down. If We are a national championship caliber team than losing a safety that makes a ton of dumb plays, an unproven outside linebacker, and 3 third string players shoukdnt be the end of the world. Jesus, can we at least wait for the facts? It's quite possible that some of these guys simply were in the car. If every school kicked out every kid that got busted for burning a J, then most schools would be dismissing kids every season. The kid with the gun? i'm assuming it was unregistered, which I'm fine with dismissing that kid. The rest of these guys very well may have been just going on a smoke cruise. Suspend them from the team for the season, don't kick them off the freaking team.

1. Find a weed dealer that you can chill with! Not one that makes you feel like you need a gun!

2. If both charges are misdemeanors, these guys will two games.... unless ND dilly-dallies with a hearing, which is entirely plausible.

3. This could turn into the Frozen Five if the University wants to make them pay for harming thr image. They don't get kicked out or even punished harshly, but they have to wait nearly a whole season for the outcome.

Multiple charges are probably because they were in the backseat with the gun, and no one would own up to being the owner, so all three in the backseat get charged.


Anyone know what the University process is in dealing with a misdemeanor? Both charges are misdemeanors, now.
