Texas Dad beats his daughter's child molester to death... He won't be charged!

I'm kind of tired of people using this board to dump all of their idealogical nonsense. Not sure how we got to that point, but I don't remember it being like this before the 2012 election. I feel like every time I come by here, someone is trying to troll somebody else about some political thing or another. I've made it a point not to post in any more political threads, and I won't. But, I thought this is something we can all hold hands and celebrate together.

We may not all agree on what the proper role is for our government, but I hope we can agree that it isn't to send guys like this to the bing.

Edit: Just read the article. His daughter was only 5 years old and he walked in on the act. D.A. isn't going to spend resources to try to convict a pretty convincing temporary insanity plea.

Are you a parent? I hope not, in the moment you have no idea what that guy is going to do to your daughter and so you do anything possible to stop it. Not to be judgmental but if you don't you probably shouldn't be a parent.

You're right, someone that is molesting a child must be completely stable and in-control of the situation... NO WAY would they be capable of actually hurting someone.

He acted within his state law.

Italics is needed. But if you actually believe this, if your young helpless child is molested everyone close to you gets messed up.

Same here. My initial thought was it was a revenge killing, which, as much as it pains me to say, would have deserved punishment. But the fact he caught him in the act and then tried to get paramedics to the scene to help him, makes this "murder" A-OK in my book.

Molesting a 5 year old is also laying down some serious, serious hurt, no?. Most often in these cases the mental toll is exponentially larger than the physical one. The molester murdered innocence, and probably severely hindered this girl's development and life.

Texas for sure has it right on this one.

I mean... you can kill someone with one punch. Or even just a push if they fall into something. We have no details to how exactly he beat him up to cause death.
