How many of our squad that play overseas are starting for their clubs. I know Pulisic doesn't, Turner is the backup at Arsenal. Adams does at Leeds, believe Aaronson starts most games. Believe Ream does at Fulham. Mostly follow the EPL so not sure what the others are up to.

Robinson starts for Fulham. Musah starts on Valencia in LA Liga. Dest is playing more since the move to Milan. McKennie, when fit, plays a lot of minutes for Juventus. Weah starts for Lille in French Ligue 1. So most of these guys are getting plenty of time, Pulisic and Turner are sort of the exceptions.

Pulisic needs to move. He needs to be the focal point of the attack for a team that values his style. He's plenty good enough but just doesn't fit at Chelsea.

Pulisic never should have gone to Chelsea in the first place. Never liked that move for him the moment it went down.

Eric Wynalda seems to have some real issues with everything the US team does. Did he get snubbed for a coaching position or something?

I wonder if the ten guys Wynalda says should be playing and aren't would start for the Dutch team.

And Alexi Lalas is just as bad. What's with these ex soccer players?

Eric ran for President of USSF in 2018 and was passed over. He has been pretty critical of the USSF board and management for quite awhile. He also really doesn't like Gregg and has made that known publicly. He even stated last week that he wouldn't have hired GGG if he had been named President.

I rewatched the US vs Netherlands match. The US was not outplayed at all imo. The Dutch had 3 chances in the first half and put 2 of them in the net. US had the better play in the first half with more possession just weren't as clinical.

The US also had a few chances and just couldn't score. In the 4th minute Pulisic had a wide open opportunity from 10 yds out and it glanced off the keepers shin, inches from going in. Hadji Wright had a couple chances towards the end too.

The glaring weakness of this squad was striker. Also the Dutch scored the first 2 goals off of defensive lapses. The US just didn't mark well at times, leaving Depay and Blind wide open on those chances. CB needs an upgrade too.

Took my team out for lunch to an Irish pub not expecting any match to be going on. Ended up seeing all the extra time and penalties. There was about a dozen crazed Moroccans and a handful of depressed Spain fans. Nothing better than seeing a heavy favorite lose.

I went to that Morroco vs USA friendly here in Cincinnati in June. Their fans are awesome and came out in droves to see them play. US won 3-0 but the match was a lot closer than the final score. Happy for them.

If Berhalter is fired, it is probably because of poor results in the end. I don't want that.

My preference for the job, should it ever come open again, is Jesse Marsch or Pellegrino Matarazzo.

Caleb Porter's star really fell. I was hoping his career trajectory would take him further than being fired by the Columbus Crew.
