If Brazil don't score, this will be the first time since '94 that at least one team hasn't won all their group games. Per my five minute wikipedia search...

Man Cameroon score against Brazil, the goal scorer takes his shirt off in celebration (which is a yellow), already had a yellow, gets sent off.

Cameroon need to score two to go through. He just screwed his team of any chance to score again...

Edit: they need Serbia to score again, but that game isnt' over yet.

Alright everyone, here's the bracket:

USA/Netherlands
Argentina/Australia

Japan/Croatia
Brazil/South Korea

England/Senegal
France/Poland

Morocco/Spain
Portugal/Switzerland

Personally:
USA/Argentina
Japan/Brazil

England/France
Spain/Portugal

TBD on the rest.

It was extremely entertaining in the moment

Come on Jigga...dont count out Poland yet...although if Lewandowski keeps walking around and the coach plays a defensive formation, they will lose to France. But Im calling it...Poland 2-France 1...

I was just telling my wife that after dominating them for fifteen minutes that the last thing they could do is allow a quick strike to end the half and that’s exactly what they did like one minute later

Yeah, that second was a killer. The USA haven't played terrible, but the Dutch has been more clinical with that last pass.

Total dagger at the close of the half. You must hustle back on defense, instead you gave up a transition "layup."

Wright looks like a Turkish league quality player in a team of top 4 league talents. But guess there's a reason he scores so many goals!

This game was crying out for an elite striker. I pray Ricardo Pepi or Sargent or anyone can grow into that guy.

Outlaws are done, Germany is done, putos have been sent home and the global Illuminati conspiracy kept Scotland from winning the whole thing yet again,……

All I have left to care about is England can’t win it,…

I was listening to Sirius XMFC for post-game talk and Eric Wynalda said that nobody on the US squad would start for the Dutch. I don't know enough about the Dutch squad to know for sure but I have a hard time believing that. Anybody with a bit more knowledge think the talent gap is still that wide? I don't.

Probably the most bland and uninspiring Dutch team in their history right now. They are basically the same energy as Germany and Belgium but just have had an easy run of games tbf they look like they’d be happy to go home

Eric Wynalda seems to have some real issues with everything the US team does. Did he get snubbed for a coaching position or something?

I wonder if the ten guys Wynalda says should be playing and aren't would start for the Dutch team.

And Alexi Lalas is just as bad. What's with these ex soccer players?

There are a number of American players that would feature for the Dutch,… that’s a ridiculous take. Their youth might hurt TODAY but yeah

Maybe in the midfield and depending on the formation, but otherwise...no chance. The US CBs lack of passing range and striker play was so far off the pace of play. The good news is almost all the "big time" USA players are young enough to have another WC in them if not two.

How many of our squad that play overseas are starting for their clubs. I know Pulisic doesn't, Turner is the backup at Arsenal. Adams does at Leeds, believe Aaronson starts most games. Believe Ream does at Fulham. Mostly follow the EPL so not sure what the others are up to.

Who is the next group is in the queue? Most are already known and have capped. Development needs to continue, particularly with FB and striker play. I enjoyed the critical call out by Turner in the postgame.

Disappointed.

I don't watch soccer, but I watched this morning. I felt like the US team controlled most of the action, but every time they had the smallest lapse, the Dutch scored.
In previous World Cups I felt like the US never controlled action and were basically playing not to lose every time I've seen them.

I feel confident that we would rule this sport if we cared about it as much as the rest of the world.
