De Gea may be close to reaching second best keeper in the world status (none will touch Neuer for some time). Dislike him and Man U, but he has been nothing short of incredible this year. Only keepers still ahead of him IMO would be Courtois and maaaaaybbeee Cech.

Yeah, Neuer is stupid. De Gea is dirty. Today could have been 4-0 easy. Wonder how many points he has gotten Utd over the past couple of seasons.

I was really excited when Pool got Firmino. He took a few months to settle but he is really looking good. Still goes missing for awhile at times but he's young.

He is atrocious. He is arrogant, condescending, and presumption. I hate watching him on any analyst show or listening to his drivel when he is doing CC.

And then the Spanish national team coach STILL went with Iker in the WC instead of de Gea because he stuck with his favorites that he had previously won with instead of the playing the best players, and Iker was predictably awful. Not sure I'll ever get over that.

Courtois's play slipped this year and Cech isn't on de Gea's level (anymore). I would take de Gea over any keeper in the world outside of Neuer. By the way, Navas is playing out of his mind at Real Madrid this year, building on his incredible World Cup performance after a shaky season last year. He's been their MVP. He should be creeping up any list for top goalkeepers.

He has saved them so many fucking points. He's easily MVP this season as well. I sincerely hope Madrid take him this summer. ManU should be paying that fax machine 100k a week, since it has done more for their season than every player barring De Gea.

I could be completely wrong, but with the recent Independence referendum in Scotland, presuming a lot of building up in the years prior, may have played a factor.
