City deserved more than a point there. They really outplayed Chelsea, but they are still lacking the final piece up front.

Aguero's injury seems to have really set him back.

I think City is just not the same without Yaya Toure. He is as good an all around midfielder as there is in the League.

Don't look now but Liverpool has really picked up. Hopefully they can sneak into top 4 by end of season.

Bayern got smashed by Wolfsburg this weekend. What on earth?

Still picking Bayern to win the Champions League.

Yeah, for the last 4 weeks or so Liverpool has lacked nothing but a confident, composed, capable striker -- and now they have Sturridge back. Look out for the Reds.

The next couple of fixtures are huge for Liverpool. I would love to see Gerrard end his career with an FA cup win, or any silverware for that matter.

The Champions League returns this week!

Looking forward to next week's match-up between Barcelona and Manchester City.

Messi is on an absolute tear right now and his partnership with Neymar and Suarez is really flourishing right now.

So pumped. Several good ones there, but I will be really interested in PSG/Chelsea. I love to root against Chelsea and I love the spectacle of Zlatan. He hasn't had a great season but he scored one of his patented karate-kick goals this weekend. Could be heating up.

I'd love for PSG to win but they are without Lucas, Cabaye, and Marquinhos. Idk if Zlatan and Cavani will be enough to overcome Chelsea without those three.

I'm not saying Shaktar is gonna pull the upset, but they could definitely cause problems for bayern with luis Adriano in some great form.

Excited for these games

PSG was clearly the better side today, but come away with a draw.

Not saying Bayern had a disastrous game as they should win the return leg, but still surprised that one ended 0-0.

Goal in the 93 rd by JG tied it 3-3... Decent parting gift for a Celtics Euro campaign most likely, they now have to go win in Milan... Any things possible but...

It's (almost) official: The 2022 World Cup is a total abomination

Unbelievable...

Sports Illustrated soccer reporter Grant Wahl reported this week that it's a "done deal" that the 2022 World Cup will take place in November and December instead of its standard summer timeframe. FIFA brass are expected to make that move official at a meeting in Zurich, Switzerland, next month, according to Wahl.

Every official within the FIFA ranks should be fired over this.

I love him and I don't know why. Hope he keeps up his current run of form. He looks legitimately dangerous.

I sometimes just perversely love people that I know are legitimately hated. Jay Cutler is another example.

I understand a lot of people do not like him, but I don't think he deserves the amount of cristism he has been getting lately. He has done some pretty idiotic things in the past, but honestly every "incident" he has had this year has been blown way out of proportion (Ex. Penalty, Instagram post, ect.). I hope he does well at Liverpool because I think him and Sturridge could form a lethal partnership. We'll have to wait and see though.

Moving the World Cup to the winter just completely messes up the European seasons. It's a grueling event. Squads like Bayern, Real, and Barca would struggle mightily post World Cup were it to be held in the winter as the bulk of their squads are internationals starting for premier nations

Bhoys are hanging in there but they'll need a goal in the final ten minutes and they're a man down.......

Fuck, Milan scores....

This is exactly why Celtic need the fuck out of Scotland, no reason why two big name clubs like this should have such a huge gap in payrolls...

Even if they had to start in League 2 in England, Celtic would be in the Premier League in 5 seasons at most. They will never get past Round of 16 in UCL if they don't do that though. Just too much money going around for the other clubs for Celtic to compete with. What they are doing now is great, don't get me wrong. But to reach that next level, they need to leave Scotland.

You don't think they could climb two levels in five years??? They're a really good Championship level club right now... And that's after gutting a team that three years ago was pretty much on par with. newcastleish mid level EPL team... I think they'd climb every level of English football every year until they reach the Championship, at least...

Edit, may have misread, you're sayin what I'm sayin, not the opposite...
