Arsenal have signed Debuchy, Sanchez and hopefully Khedira and/or Bender and Mandquillo in the next few days. With a much improved Exciting times.
Arsenal fans, do you guys think this makes the Gooners title contenders for the upcoming season? I think Arsenal needs a CD if Vermaelan leaves though and a GK to replace Fabianski.
Well there is certainly more depth in the midfield than in previous years, but Arsenal needs to pick up a DM, or else they are just relying on Flamini. They definitely need a keeper, since Szczesny is the only one on the roster. The Sanchez signing was huge, and Debuchy should be an upgrade too. If Arsenal can pull Khedira, a solid cup keeper, and a 4th centerback, they will be a contender. I am interested to see how they balance Sanchez, Walcott, Giroud, Campbell, Podolski, and Ox. I'm expecting something like

But that leaves Cazorla and Wilshere out. It will be interesting to see where Wenger goes with this. It is without a doubt the most talented Arsenal team in years.
